Down pipes?

Someone just came out with a billet intake. It’s taking time but more and more are realizing it’s the modern day 2JZ.

For real. Minus electrical issues, the engine appears to be the real deal.

Tuning may be a big roadblock. Usually downpipes will throw codes or maybe loosen up boost restrictions and these modern cars are super sensitive. Every car I’ve had that I messed with downpipes had a tune to remove the CEL.
There are “sport cats” but they can still throw codes too.
There are some work arounds but I still think the ecu getting cracked will be the biggest game changer for this platform.

purchased my from dballz went with the psp fatcats. Gonna pair it with the awe exhaust and see how it performs and sounds since nobody has yet. Hopefully for $5k it doesn’t let me down

Downpipes are a real want but idk if the juice is worth the squeeze based on the price. Someone convince me lol

$400 more than an exhaust and sounds better, way more power earlier in the power band, and when a tunes released it’s gonna gain a significant amount of power
