If you think the RHO is bad the ram limited is rated an even worse stopping distance of 133 ft from 60mph vs 126 ft for RHO

I'm not an engineer, but when you have 18" wheels, you have to have a relatively modest-sized brake rotors compared to the 19-20"+ wheels that are so common these days. And when you put a 35" tire on, I think the tires have a lot of "leverage" on those modest-sized discs. It's like a breaker bar - the longer the breaker bar, the less hope the tiny bolt has of resisting - and the bolt has zero chance of stopping someone pulling on the of the bar.

Maybe some six or eight pot calipers (assume front are four?) would help this beast.

Just installed the JB4. This was my first and only run. Map 2, AC on, my fat ass and heavy 35" Falken AT4's.

My next run will be map 3 with E30 fuel.

I genuinely think that map 3 with E30 and the stock wheels/tires back on will yield 11.9X

That DA though!! my DA is about 7k right now lol. I think the best I've ever seen when running out here was just under 4k on the last open track day in October before they shut her down for winter.

That's an excellent time. How much boost is it now pushing if stock is 28psi? Around 34psi? If longevity of the motor isnt compromised too much then that's an awesome thing.

I don't think these are really pushing 28 psi. I'm going to do some boost profile logs tonight. We'll see what stock is vs the Cat6 maps.

My guess is around 29-30 psi on the most aggressive map and 26 psi stock.

Power isn't always boost dependent, you can tweak afr's and timing and make more power on the same psi.

That’s correct. JB4 verified this on their dyno. I beleive they said the true boost pressure from the factory was 25-26. Idk why my display shows 28 psi unless Ram is proposed manipulating the software to display higher pressure. JB4 runs their tunes at true 28 psi (according to their YouTube vid)

Oh that's interesting I didn't know that. Ram is funny man, deleting all the performance stats on the 2026 RHO page of 0-60mph 0-100mph and top speed but putting this generic ass message lol

When you do this can you tell me if stock pulls boost before redline? I’d imagine it should hold till shift and mine drops after 5k rpm. Thanks.

tapering boost is a common practice. I have hundreds of datalogs from when I was developing / building N54 parts. I'll make some charts and we'll see what it do.

Kind of off topic but before purchasing my TRX I was strongly considering a 2022-24 BMW X5 M50i or M60i with the N63 hot V but I could never get a definitive answer if the N63 was reliable or not. Many said the TU3 version of it that i'd be purchasing is reliable but many said it was just better than the previous horrible bmw design. I even called and spoke to a few shops that work on BMW's and same thing.. some mechanics said it was a pretty reliable high end motor that of course will need some more maintenance than other engines but some straight up said STAY AWAY. Being that I was planning to keep my next purchase long-term (and i wanted a pickup truck) i ended up ordering the rho.

Can't speak to long term reliability but I had a 24 X5 m60i which has the S68 - had a JB4 on it and it was an absolute rocket ship. What I HATED was the 48v mild hybrid system. You can't turn it off and it shuts the motor down before you even come to a stop so you're "free rolling" and it was just an awful experience. I would go with the N63 over the S68 purely because of that.
