Yes, dealership gave me my $1K deposit back. If there were no mitigating circumstances and I had simply changed my mind on a factory order, I don't believe that I would be entitled to a refund of deposit. But in the case of the RHOs and the absurd delays and problems, that is a different story and anyone who bails out has a very real argument for refund. I posted details of bail-out here:

Another One Bites the Dust

After ten months of waiting on a factory order the wait is over, but not in a good way. When my vehicle went into production, I was given an estimated delivery date. That date changed three times as the pictures show but only changed by three days total. That gave me the impression that RAM...

The Durango is a 2024 Hellcat Plus with black package. MSRP was $106K. OTD was right about $80K with tax. That was actually cheaper than my RHO would have been even with almost $10K MSRP discount.

Very happy with Durango so far. I had local detail shop put a satin black vinyl wrap on the hood for $300 so it is a 2025 Final Edition Silver Bullet Last Call knock-off.

Specs say 0-60 in 3.5 seconds but I've got several at 3.3 according to online computer and it's not even broken-in yet. Launch control is not needed. Put it in Sport mode, turn off traction control, release brake and mat it to the floor. It jumps out of hole and runs like a raped ape. Sounds like Godzilla tromping through Tokyo. Looks like soccer mom, runs like a criminal. Very gangster. Very happy.

Congrats! I think, all things considered, it was probably the best course of action.

My order has been stuck in D1 status for 4 months now. I understand that some of the members here have had to wait quite a bit longer for their trucks, so I'm not complaining about that. This truck was supposed to replace our family SUV, which has been having a lot of issues as of late, so I don't know how much longer I can wait on the RHO... It's been quite a dilemma, especially with all of the ongoing issues that I've been reading about it on the forums. We need a reliable family car.
