I purchased a K&N Cold Air Intake from the Mopar parts shop at my local CDJR Dealership in Metro Detroit. I also had the dealer install the air intake. After install, the engine was running really rough - they had installed the MAP sensor in the intake backwards. So, turned it around and everything seemed to work just fine. Everything was great for a few weeks and then I got a CEL out of nowhere.
I ran the diagnostics and the code was P2C90 - generally means there's a lose breather hose somewhere. At the same time, the PCV recall was taking place, so I figured it was that. The dealership had a mobile service unit come out, replaced the PCV hose and cleared the code. Not more than a week later, I got another CEL - same thing P2C90. I also had all kinds of issues with my UConnect, front passenger wheel was squeaking, as well as additional recalls - so I took it back to the dealership to get everything fixed. They replaced the PCV valve (again) and did all the other warranty work. A week later - another CEL. P2C90 again.
Has anyone run into this? I can't imagine it's the PCV line again? I mean, I have seen threads where old PCV lines were being used that didn't connect perfectly - but I gotta think it's the K&N Air Intake causing the error. This was a Mopar part, installed at a Mopar dealership service department.
