You might have seen me post here and there for the last year or so; I've been lurking & poking around for about that long & FINALLY found the right truck & pulled the trigger today. Found a truck that was spec'd exactly the way I would spec a factory order, which I was fully prepared to do. But this one popped this morning, and it literally fell off the delivery truck @ 9:03PM last night. (it didn't actually fall). I called on it this morning and got the dealer to swing a pretty reasonable deal on a truck they absolutely did not need to discount, since there was no inventory age on this one.
PDI has not been done, it's still in transport mode, so no joy rides or drives, & I get to pull the plastic off the seats and screen when I go to pick it up. (they have explicit instructions to park it in the back lot, and NOT touch it until I get there in a few weeks.)
I also got them to throw in the deployable bed step and dealer cost, since it does not have the BUG that I would not really use much.
(There may or may not be a DiabloSport Cat 6 sitting in my tool box right now........

- It's a '27, so it has the cool new tail gate badge & extra storage compartment instead of the screen nobody uses.
