If this is the same as the TRX carbon fiber hood, it's not any lighter. In fact, I believe it's a tad heavier.

I haven't installed it yet waiting to dyno my truck before swapping hood. I wanted the extra heat extraction from the side vents more than the weight saving. My downpipes are lighter than the oem ones, so it equals out.

Just received and installed the items. The front pair fits perfectly, but for the rear pair, the holes line up, though the lower inner part doesn’t fit exactly right. It’s still installable, but I'm wondering if I got the wrong ones.

I bought the 5-inch version and just received it. It fits well overall. Since the rear-view mirror console is positioned to the right of center, there's a slight gap on the left and a small overlap on the right. A 10-inch version would likely have a larger gap on the left but no overlap on the right.

I’ve got the 5" one, so I can’t really speak to the 10" version—that was just my guess. And the word "sensor" isn’t from me, it’s from the product page on Amazon.

I ordered both the 5” and 10” sunshades to figure out which was best.

Can confirm that both are super snug to get fully open up against the windshield (needs a little oomph to get the shade in there) to get them past the windshield grab handles, but once in there, they have full coverage from edge to edge.

The 5” cutout on the 26MY overlaps the rearview mirror and rain sensor console so doesnt sit flat against the windshield. The 10” cutout fits around the rearview mirror and rain sensor console much better. Both versions have a large gap in the cutout on the Driver’s Side… maybe would work well with an off-center mounted dashcam?

In your cart, Amazon will say that neither version fits the 2026 Ram 1500 RHO. The 10” cutout version does fit very well but it just requires a little effort to get past the entry grab handles. The cutouts arent perfect for either though, but hardly dealbreakers.

5” cutout version (overlaps passenger-side of rearview mirror and rain sensor console, sits about 2” off of the windshield at that area [red arrow]; notice that the center of the cutout sits lower and doesnt touch the mount [green arrow]):

10” cutout version (clears the passenger side of the rearview mirror and rain sensor console [green arrow], but the center of the cutout is higher and overlaps the bottom of the console [red arrow] :

Basically, neither is perfect but im going with the 10” bc it at least sits symetrically.

Shouldn't the 10" one have a larger gap on the driver side than the 5" one?

If you look at the pics, its a roughly similar-sized driver’s side gap laterally… if its bigger on the 10”, its not by much. Not sure how that math makes sense for a double-sized cutout, but i didnt measure it, i just used my eyes and took pics. Im guessing its not really 10” vs 5” but it doesnt really matter, it just is what it is. I’ve already returned the 5” cutout version.
