Looks awesome! Very cool to start seeing some of these show up in the forum and internet imagesView attachment 27813
I'm personally loving the way the color changes in the light. I believe there is significant gold flake in the paint, when the sun hits, it changes drastically. Can't wait to get a hold of mine!
I think manufacturers put a ton of research into this, and they usually lean toward colors that appeal to the widest audience and hold resale value, so you end up with a lot of safe, neutral tones. But I do love the serrano, I don't want something flashy all the time. Not impressed. Too many dark/subdued BLAH colors.
Need a bright, punchy color.
Seems like all truck manufacturers are using manically depressed, color-blind molerats to choose their vehicle colors.
Saw 2015 2500 in SubLime, yesterday. Now that's a truck color...
Thanks for the vid! I can't disagree having some more vibrant color options (I would have went Delminico Red as my first option....very similar to my c7 grand sport Long Beach Red) would be nice, but the serrano green has definately grown on me and now looking forward to it. I could have bought a billet silver level 1 off the lot when I placed my order, but I wanted something atleast different than black, white or silver for a change.
There we have it. A nice video showing Serrano Green! Might I add, it looks like a gloomy Michigan day.
I completely agree with your assessment...I think manufacturers put a ton of research into this, and they usually lean toward colors that appeal to the widest audience and hold resale value, so you end up with a lot of safe, neutral tones. That said, I’m with you, colors like sublime actually give a truck some personality. Not everything needs to be grey, black, or “mystery metallic shadow”![]()
Mazda would do very well doing the same with their MX-5...except its an even less colorful palette than RAM.I completely agree with your assessment...
But I still think an "out of bounds" color option should be offered.
I'd pay extra for a SubLime, Crazy Plum, or Spitfire Yellow...
Well did you buy it, or do you already have one on order?I test drove a Serrano green it was really nice and the way the color changes between vibrant and dark depending on the sun is cool.
Still deciding on a RHO or a Rebel GTWrlell did you buy it, or do you already have one on order?
Love itAnyone run into this? Here's one for you Sereno green lovers
Damn she looks pretty. I just got notified by them that my truck finally came in so I'll be doing a zoom call with him tonight to work out financing and deliveryJus picker her up on my way home to Colorado. Put ark flaps on to protect paint. More to come
This color looks so different every time I see it. One pic looks almost army green and the other 2 are basically black. I’ve also seen it look sparkly and vividly green in the sun. I’m anxious to receive my Serrano Green in May hopefullyJus picker her up on my way home to Colorado. Put ark flaps on to protect paint. More to come
Congratulations looks amazing in that color!!!Just picker her up on my way home to Colorado. Put ark flaps on to protect paint. More to come
