Glass issue and leather seat issue (see video)

Well, Rebels are $85k now too, apparently. But that's not really the point. The RHO isn't a German luxury car. It's a truck, made on the same assembly line as the Tradesman and Bighorn. Yes, it has some extra features - most of which are drivetrain, body, and suspension. And yes, it has an upper-end-for-RAM interior. But that doesn't make it into a vehicle that would have top-end leather and gold accents.

Okay? I'm aware what the vehicle is.

They had the better leather up until 2023 when literally all of that was still true...lol. So, apparently these vehicles can have top-end leather.

Ram changed their leather starting MY 2023. They did this to save $ (while they constantly raise the price for us).

Hell, your TRX has the better leather. Have you been in an RHO?

Not to mention, the new $102,000 TRX will have the same cheap leather. So price is irrelevant too.

It's simply Ram cheaping out. My complaint is legitimate and not unreasonable.

I mean, is it unreasonable to expect higher quality leather at $85,000? I don't really think so lol. I mean, my Rebel was $56,000 and had the better leather. It's okay to complain when companies cheap out and rip us off! I just call it like I see it, no fanboy stuff here.

The RHO leather is passable, but if you could compare it side by side to 2022 leather you'd see what I was saying 100%

But to answer your question, yes I always feel better after a good rant online :ROFLMAO:
Oh I don't disagree, just enjoyed your rant. You were due.๐Ÿคฃ

Agreed, they've definitely gone cheaper on the leather (yes, my 2022 TRX has the good stuff). I was just saying that the price point of the truck doesn't make it deserve top-end leather. It's still a truck, that's all. Lots of TRX guys have said the same thing - it's a $100k truck so it should have the best of everything, no cheap parts, should always work flawlessly, that kind of stuff.

Yeah it's been a while! Things were getting a bit too pleasant around here...had to stir the pot a bit :ROFLMAO:

Can't let my title of Expert Complainer lapse.

For sure, I'm not saying the Ram should have the same hand-picked top tier leather that's in a Ferrari or a $150,000 Mercedes...but they definitely could have kept the stuff they used up til 2023 is all I'm saying. That was a great leather, I miss it. Oh well, the RHO still has a great interior.

Imagine test driving a 100k X5 M60 with Pleather seat!!...Also the 2026 Durango jailbreak has leather upgrades on their seats, why not at least offer it.

That looks more like a seat issue than a leather issue. It doesnโ€™t appear that replacing the seat cover is going to make any difference with that issue.
I agree. After giving up on pushing the replacement and getting no where I asked just that. He said if it's a cushion, padding or bolstering they will replace that aswell. I just don't want this becoming dragged out and multiple times in the dealership when they could have resolved it one shot. Also wondering if the massaging seat could be doing this. I literally only used it twice though. All in all the truck has
been good minus this and the transmission studder thing. Hopefully they figure it out in one attempt.
