So just an update, the starter is seized, so once that is replaced, they will be able to run and diagnose the CEL

I'm having starter issues as well. 250 miles on the truck. CEL is on. Went to dealer and they cleared the code. Popped right back up when the truck did an auto shut off at a stop light. I have been turning the auto shut off off but have an appointment with dealer this Thursday to figure things out.

Yeah I am hoping its something simple like that. Just hoping it doesnt sit at dealer for days. Other than this small issue I love truck and don't regret getting it at all.

So just an update, the dealership has had the starter since last Friday and it's still not in. I called today and left a message with no response. I did turn in a claim with RAM and the case manager was supposed to call me today. I left a message for him no response. I thought FORD didn't give a crap about their customers. This is pathetic.

So finally got an update. I do have a bad CAT, but also a bad injector that was dumping fuel into the cylinder. Now it's just a wait for the parts. Not sure what the issue with the starter was but it's replaced now and supposedly a blown fuse housing. The wait for parts is going to suck.

Make sure they give you a complimentary oil change, because your oil is now pretty much 1/2 gasoline and will not be kind to your engine internals. Hopefully no damage has been done to bearings, rings, or anything critical.
