Head Room

I have 1800 miles on my truck so far. I have about 1 inch, or less when I sit slouched in the driver-side seat with the seat tilted back. I do have the moonroof option, which I now regret as when I hop in and sit straight up, my head touches the roof. Does anyone else have this issue? I came from a 2011 F150 that I had for 7 years and never had my head touch the roof. Also, I have a friend with a moonroof in his 22 F150 that I drove, and I didn't have this issue. The seat tilted back enough without being a low rider, and the seat is as low as it will go.

Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced this, as it's becoming a daily annoyance to be honest. I'm 6'3

I'm gonna have to take a look how close I am because I didn't notice anything but then again I'm only 6'2. Might be just the way you sit. I had my brother previous week but only in passenger seat and his just under 6'5.

Ohh and this is my 3rd ram 1500.

That's very interesting point because I'm 6'2 and my brother is just under 6'5 and for some reason he's always amazed why and how in all my cars the seat is all the way back.

Never been told that, haha, just had to measure. Barfoot from the floor to my hip is 40 inches.

Dang, that's unfortunate. I'm leaning back as far as I comfortably feel. And I don't feel that I am Straight up or anything either. Do you have the moonroof as well?

No I don't. I stayed away from glass roof after my 2019 had none stop leaks for a year

Got it, Thanks for the feedback. I haven't had any leaks but I thought it would be cool. But after this I don't think I'd get it again. Even if it slightly removes headroom.

You did put the seat down right? Its height adjustable. Im 6'1" and wear a 34" inseam and have gobs of space. And I have the Pano roof.

Ill have to take pics later but I know I had to raise the seat a little honestly.

Seat is as low as it can go, if I opened the window could probably look right out
