Head Room

Good lord brother, you're gonna need a bigger truck 🤙🏼
Haha I hope not. I am actually considering going up to my local RAM dealership so I can sit in a 25 truck without a moonroof and maybe a 2500 to see if there's a difference.

I wonder if the head room is higher or lower between having a moonroof vs not?

I have 1800 miles on my truck so far. I have about 1 inch, or less when I sit slouched in the driver-side seat with the seat tilted back. I do have the moonroof option, which I now regret as when I hop in and sit straight up, my head touches the roof. Does anyone else have this issue? I came from a 2011 F150 that I had for 7 years and never had my head touch the roof. Also, I have a friend with a moonroof in his 22 F150 that I drove, and I didn't have this issue. The seat tilted back enough without being a low rider, and the seat is as low as it will go.

Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced this, as it's becoming a daily annoyance to be honest. I'm 6'3
6'5. Plenty of headroom without touching it, with sunroof. Front part of seat might be tilted up?

It's up a little, but I've tried with it completely flat and doesn't seem to make a difference in terms of hight. Not entirely sure then with you being taller. I'll have to make a video.

Dirty truck at the moment.
I ensure the seat is pressed all the way down, front and back. I show the seat which doesn't look crazy forward or anything to me. Hop in and my head touches the roof. I do have to adjust and slouch a bit but I definitely can't say plenty of room.

6'4", moonroof and I have plenty of clearance (at least 3 inches). So odd.
See the video I liked to? Yeah I don't understand either. After the guy saying he is 6'5" and has tons of room. Don't think my seating position is super upright and I show it's as low as can go.

That sucks. It would drive me mad.

I'm getting there but thought I'd ask if anyone else is close to hitting too. 🥲

Shoot I forgot to take a pic last night, Ill do it tonight when I get her cleaned up for the weekend.

Have you tried the passenger side all the way down to see if there is a difference? Possible you stuffed a first aid kit or something like that under the seat that is making it so it does not bottom out? My son is 6’2” and has a ton of headroom

Nothing is under the seat as far as I'm aware. But I'll try the passenger seat next time I head out to it. Thanks for the advice.

Really weird. I almost wonder if you should go try to sit in another RHO. Certainly not impossible that those highly skilled and engaged factory techs screwed something up with your seat.

I know ha, closest I could get would probably be a Rebel. No RHOs in my area 😬 ordered mine from Mark Dodge and had it delivered. But after the storm is done around my area I do plan on going to sit in a 25 Rebel as it should be pretty close anyway and see if it's different.

Where are you? Seems like someone on here would be close-ish

MN, Minneapolis area. Wouldn't be opposed to a meetup, but I'll try a dealer first.

Hmm. I like the amount you show proving seat is down. Makes no sense. Move seat fwd and recline it more? Im at a lose. I have plenty of room

This is crazy. Something isn't right, clearly some big dudes having no issues and clearly you're a big dude that looks like you're crammed into a mini cooper, lol. Man my conspiracy theories are going crazy in my head right now. I, too, am curious to see the result in another RHO or Rebel, with a moon roof, a like for like comparison, wondering if your seat isn't going all the way down due to a fault or whatever? Did you sit in the passenger seat yet? Or...you're really a 7 foot badass NBA player and just mind fucking us all lmao. Man I sure hope you get this figured out...what if you're the only one driving a chopped RHO, that would be kinda badass too, I might trade ya and slam that beeotch on airbags :ROFLMAO:

Maybe OP and another RHO owner tape measure from the seam on the front edge of the seat to the floor and post that distance.
