How can I get the Amber drl’s

just turn the light switch to the "lights on" position? or you don't want the rest to be on at the same time?

The latter. I want the lights to behave normally except the scoop lights on with ignition.

Somebody posted that you can just turn on your parking lights and it will turn on the markers. Can’t test it myself though, as mine are hardwired

Thats my method until tazer comes out. i keep my headlight knob on off or auto when the truck is off. Then when i get in the truck to drive during day i turn it to parking lights, good visibility for others during daytime and DRL on. Then at night/evening switch to auto or headlight on. Amber DRL= always on and very easy.

Figured out why my hood scoop lights weren’t working, was wondering where it gets plugged into?

I looked a long time ago, at the rear hinge you can follow a cord I believe. Not much help but it has to be along that run
Thanks for the info, I’ll give a look at it!

I hope Tazer figures out the RHO. I had a TRX behind me yesterday with Amber DRLs and scoop lights on. it looked badass

Hood lights weren’t on, it was the Hell Kitty stalking you……

I have hood scoop lights and white drl but no amber drl yet:(

For what it’s worth, the TRX DRL’s can also be changed to Amber with AlfaOBD. @Jimmy07 is exploring what can and can’t be done on the 2025’s with this software. Maybe he will find a way to do it.
For the hood marker lights, there’s got to be a way to wire them to an ignition powered fuse. Someone just has to trace those wires and be a bold experimenter.
I finally had a chance to try alfaobd on the headlights to try and make the DRLs amber, but it’s not happening. It’s gonna have to be a man-in-the-middle, like tazer, to send messages to the lights, but I don’t see them getting that to work anytime soon.
I don’t have the hood maker lights on my 2025 to test, but somewhere on this forum I’ve previously identified the marker lights circuit at the BCM. It would have to be pulled from there, and moved to an ignition power fuse under the steering column. I might be able to test this out with some spare LEDs, and see if alfaobd needs to be involved in that.

You got AlfaOBD to talk to this architecture? I haven't tried myself because the website doesn't show our trucks yet.

Yes, you have to choose your vehicle as a Jeep Grand Cherokee WL, and select its body computer. After that, it’s a somewhat complicated process making any changes.
Here’s a writeup I did on everything about using alfaobd on these 2025+ Rams:
