Hyper milaging a RHO, Ha

Kids and I went on a little jog for a killer burgers and shakes. 800 miles on the clock. 50 mile loop through the sticks, 1/3 of which was 100' hills and hollers. Averaged 54 mph. 53 there, 55 back. 20.2 mpg on the way there at 53, stopped once and easy acceleration at 2k rpms. On the way back, a neighbor i met wanted to hear me ring it out i hit 5 grand on tge way out of town 3 times and mpg dropped to 18.5. 55/56 all the way home and got home at 48 miles or so and 18.6 mpg. So far I am averaging 13 and AWE isnt helping matters. I got like short of 14 mpg at 80 mph on a 110 mile road trip to the StL and on the way home 14.6 mpg at 73 mph. Seems the RHO mpg is very sensitive to throttle input and speed. Milage drops like a box of hammers after 60. Pretty darn good at 55. This little experiment was just for poops and giggles and makes me feel better when im getting 11 mpg.
