Not at all. Sitting in D status. I was just wondering if anyone did it. I live in South Florida and guys steal trucks all the time. But I heard the computer system is different from the TRX on the RHO. I was just curious.Did you get scheduled?
Perfect. When you get Compustar, can you let me know? I appreciate it. Is it still bout $1k for IGLA? I was considering having the dealer turn off the "programming" feature on my truck. I can roll with 2 key fobs and a card. I keep 1 fob in my home safe.I had IGLA installed 2 days after taking delivery of mine. It was the dealer's first time installing it on an RHO. It works great.
I was told there is a new Compustar module available sometime in January. I will also have that installed once it is available. Until then, I've been using this super cheap (~$20) motion sensor alarm that I place inside the truck should anyone gain access to the cab by breaking a window (as the factory alarm does not have a glass break sensor).

Go to the IGLA PINCODE Group on Facebook and post your issue. Michael and Josh are the experts and will be able to assist you with what the issue is.IGLA update after 2 weeks:
As previously stated, the IGLA device (with the add'l anti-carjacking feature) functions like it should. However, the device has erroneously been triggering the CEL. The CEL will come on immediately if the pin code is not entered and the engine is stalled. The code (U0673 - Lost Communication With Ion Sense Module) doesn't clear even after getting authorized and starting the truck as usual. It needs to be cleared with a code reader. Even after following the correct authorization sequence with a cleared CEL, the CEL returns after a couple drive cycles (usually after a cold start). Not sure what the issue is. Working it out with the dealer who installed the device. Because of this, I can't pass emissions testing (plus other issues that I'm dealing with on the truck). So, if you've purchased your RHO from out-of-state and live in a state that requires emissions testing for out-of-state vehicle purchases, I'd get your smog done before any modifications to your truck so you don't end up like me. That's what I get for being so paranoid.
Thanks. Didn't know about this group. Will give it a shot.Go to the IGLA PINCODE Group on Facebook and post your issue. Michael and Josh are the experts and will be able to assist you with what the issue is.
Did you install a regular alarm system like Compustar? And can you continue with any updates here in the forum? I'm in a high vehicle theft state too and need something for security.Thanks. Didn't know about this group. Will give it a shot.
Not yet. I was waiting for the new Compustar module... hopefully that's available soon. And yeah, I'll continue to update here.Did you install a regular alarm system like Compustar? Update: The installer was able to resolve this. Apparently IGLA recommended a different installation method after hearing about this issue. Wouldn't be surprised if my truck was the first RHO to have this installed in the US. Always fun being the guinea pig. Anyways, this new installation method is working great and has already been used on several RHOs now. I highly recommend this anti-theft device. I got Igla installed yesterday. The RHO requires insta kill feature to work properly. Also upgraded to anti car jacking. All good so far.
Thanks for the update. Should all IGLA authorized dealers be familiar with this? And also still just IGLA and no alarm, correct?Update: The installer was able to resolve this. Seems liek it should be self explanatory but I guess Im missing something. What exactly does the "Prevents vehicle carjacking" and "Prevents vehicle Hijacking" do?1800-100(sale) so 1700
I'm not certain if every dealer knows the exact installation method for the RHO at this time - the truck is so new. But I'm sure they all have contacts should they have any questions. Thanks for the update. Should all IGLA authorized dealers be familiar with this? And also still just IGLA and no alarm, correct?
Do you mind giving me the phone number where you had it done. I'll have my IGLA installer contact them if they have any questions. Correct. Just IGLA, no alarm yet.
