Here's a fun thought.... Not trying to cause any drama.

So many people in here have done piggy tuners and other things and talk about removing them before taking it into a dealership. Does anyone wonder/think that ramcares might actually keep a log? Obviously they would need to tie it to a vin but I know many have submitted theirs vins to them. So if they kept a log of vins to usernames and then cross referenced that with anyone that discussed having a tuner...... Oh shit.

Just something the rolled across my brain. Curious on thoughts

That is why I have never reached out to RamCares about the phone key thingy as I want nothing associated with our truck lol

They already openly collected a list of our VIN numbers to give us the first opportunity to be a select group of users when the digital key feature rolled out.

Seeing as how the feature still hasn’t rolled out nearly 2yrs later, I think you’re probably on to something

If I were going to install something that would void my factory warranty, I certainly wouldn't post about it on a forum with a manufacturer presence. Fortunately for me, I think my RHO is fast enough for what it is. If I wanted it faster, I would have kept my R1S, as no matter what I do to my RHO, it wouldn't touch the speed and acceleration of that thing. Maybe a rocket booster in the bed or something.

Until you ride or drive an RHO that has it installed....trust me...its best not to know....I thought it was great too, until I was offered the Beta testing.....I can never go back

I came from an SUV that went 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and ran an 11.1 second 1/4. Nothing I'm going to do to this will make that much of a difference. With how high up and wide it is I wouldn't want it to. My other car is a BMW M car, so I use that when I need to wind something out.

Even if they did track and report that kind of stuff to Ram corporate, it would just go in one ear and out the other like all of the other feedback they get from the forums...
