So plug and play and a big jump in HP. May need to research this a bit. Any negatives? It’s 15 mins at most.
Say goodbye to your warrantySo plug and play and a big jump in HP. May need to research this a bit. Any negatives?
Yep, 3 connections under the hood, route a wire through the firewall and plug into OBD, zip tie the processor in a good spot and done. I've been using them for over 10 years with no negatives - however *in theory* if something catastrophic happened Ram could probably find a way to detect there was more boost and therefore deny warranty. It's a very low probability but a risk you should be aware of IMO.So plug and play and a big jump in HP. May need to research this a bit. Any negatives?
So not worth the risk…got it.Yep, 3 connections under the hood, route a wire through the firewall and plug into OBD, zip tie the processor in a good spot and done. I mean totally up to you. If I have to buy a new engine, it is what it is, but I also realize most people don't see it that way.So not worth the risk…got it.![]()
Agreed. Most don’t.I mean totally up to you. If I have to buy a new engine, it is what it is, but I also realize most people don't see it that way.
Magnusen-Moss Act. After Market and Oil change Law Jan 4, 1975 stops auto makers from voiding warranty, also if there is a TSB for the engine blowing up they have no leg to stand on, also when it is removed it leaves no trace , its not installed into the software.Yep, 3 connections under the hood, route a wire through the firewall and plug into OBD, zip tie the processor in a good spot and done.
