Knocking on wood didnt keep the gremlins away...

All good then, nothing to see here πŸ˜‚
Lol... No, but It kinda freaked me out. Thought this was the big one and it was going to end up at the dealer. Letting it take the day off today and rest. Also wondering who has the most miles on their RHO?

How was the dinner?

Thanks for the recommendation, but definitely not the issue in my case. Truck is clean. It does constantly think I'm going to rear end someone in stop and go traffic but that's a whole other issue 🀣
Check your settings
Click Vehicle next settings and then safety and driving assistance. The top one click on it. Automatic emergency braking. What sensitivity is it set to?

I'm at 21,809 miles. I've only experienced a few electrical gremlins that self-resolved during an ignition cycle.

How the fuck does Stellantis not know how to build a functional vehicle in 2026?

On top of the "Warning Light Illumination Unavailable" (wtf does that even mean?) that's been popping up lately on 50% of my starts, I'm currently having the most pain in the ass bluetooth connection issues. Bluetooth. You know, that technology that came out 25 years ago. Stellantis can't even figure out how to make a stable phone connection to uConnect. I have a brand new flagship Samsung Galaxy. Who designs this shit? I've never had bluetooth issues on any other device I own to this extent. Computers, headphones, vehicles etc etc you name it. The technology has literally been out forever.

Do they hire their engineers and software devs straight out of the local high school or something? It's almost a serious question at this point.
I genuinely had a good laugh from this. LOL. Nothing but facts tho. I also find it funny that my $1500 top of the line galaxy phone cant connect to my expensive ass truck that costs more than my parents first house. Literally most times i drive it the music will skip here and there or just drop the connection all together. Bluetooth hard to figure out. :ROFLMAO: Oh and get this, plugging it in with a 40 watt usb-c, it does literally the SAME thing over a wired connection. WTF.

Knock on wood my truck has been pretty much awesome since i got it but getting on the forum gets my nerves on edge!

Sorry to hear about all the problems people are having with their new RHO. Unfortunately, I'm also having several issues. Mine are more with CarPlay will not work, or my iPhone will not connect to the truck. This morning, I had a large screen say Important information and it would just keep spinning and loading. I had to shut the truck off multiple times to be able to drive it. Love the RHO TRUCK, tired of all of the electrical cliches!!

I finally got hit with the electronic gremlins yesterday. Just shy of 12k miles. Went out to my truck to go to work and it was completely dead. Bought a little battery pack jump starter that got it going. Took the truck to oreillys and they tested both batteries and they both came back as fine and functional. CEL came on upon jumping the truck but cleared this morning. Truck started up fine this morning too so idk.

Where did u connect the jumper too? Like which battery?

Keep an eye on your voltage while driving. After maybe 30 minutes or so you should see voltages dropping down from 14.4 and can get all the way to the 12s, and it should go back up to 14.4 while coasting to a stop

If it stays rock steady at 14.3-4 all the time then that's a sign your alternator is having to supply charge all the time and your batteries are probably failing.

This is how the new "smart" alternators work. I learned this after having my own battery issues.

Used the main battery to jump it. Aux battery is right behind it. Removed the positive cap and attached it to the two terminals. The car alarm went off when I connected the clips (also got a theft attempt alert in the app) but hoped in the truck real quick and it started right up.

It has kind of always fluctuates between like 13.8 unloaded and eventually sits around 14+ while off throttle or coasting. Its finally started to get cold here in NM, thats the only variable I can really think of that changed anything.

Hopefully it's a one time deal. When mine died I was fine for a week and then it happened again and I took it in. Both batteries needed to be replaced.

Been about 1500 miles since and seems fine and I get the expected voltage behavior now. Even when the truck was brand new it never dropped under 14.3

I'm hoping so as well but not convinced and likely gonna take it in on Thursday or Friday to see if they can load or stress test the batteries.

I just had a wrap done to my RHO. Died 3 times while getting the wrap as per my detailer.
Picked it up today and it was dead as well. Now I have a CEL. Hopefully it clears, but I am super disappointed that the batteries died at 130 miles and I have a CEL at 150 miles. Hopefully it clears, but I can't trust my truck at the airport if I go out of town for 7-10 days at this point in time. I'll be bringing it in to the dealer soon to attempt and sort it out.
No excuse for a 2026 to have a dead battery at 130 miles. To me it's not a good sign.

I can solve 50+% of the electronics issues we have experienced with these trucks. My solution is simple & inexpensive. Really!

Use a smart charger on those batteries every night. Seriously. Buy a good charger, not the cheapest crap on Amazon.

I use a German made C-tech. It uses a smart algorithm that keeps most gremlins at bay.

Sure, I hear ya…”Why should I have to charge my $80K truck that I paid $70K for & my resale sux for an $80K truck.” Because, you want it to work every day, like an $80K truck!

Yeah... I more likely will upgrade to some bommer batteries. I don't have the patience to plug in a battery when it's 70 degrees or colder outside. πŸ˜†

I have a 2500 that starts every time even after a few months of sitting around. 🀬

The RHO tho... OMG it's so good. If I can dial in these little gremlins I am going to be super pumped.
