Leveling kit

Where are you guys having the springs installed? I took it to a local shop and the tech said he didn’t wanna touch it. (Which i am more than ok with his honesty)
Like what was said just a truck shop did it no problem they're only springs no biggie

That shop is a joke! I did mine myself in @ an hr and I'm not a mechanic, just a hobbyist.

Only the front? I am looking at the 1.6 front and 1.5 rear. Not sure if this will throw off any sensors?
Thanks
Doing 1.6 front and 1.5 rear is gonna leave the truck sitting low in the front just like stock !?!?!?!?!?

Maybe a bit. I did similar on my 23 Raptor and because of the front lift you could not tell the rake was so bad. Every truck has a bit different rake and mine is not as bad. I hate my truck being higher in the front than a bit of rake so the 1.5/1.6 works well for me.

Anyone care to snap some pictures of the angle their sensors are sitting at on a stock truck, as well as maybe a 1.6” truck, and a 2” truck with the ride height sensor rods from Zona?

I hate to rehash all this, but while Bobby did a great job. Ringing these links to market and fixing our shifting concerns , I can’t help but wonder if I still need some adjustment. My suspension just seems stiffer than it needs to be at times. I miss the “boat” feeling when it Baja mode. Here are some pictures I currently have.

The first two are some garbage ones I tried to get on someone’s stock RHO in the dealership parking lot.

The 2nd two are of my truck with the 2” Foutz kit and upper control arms (which shouldn’t matter) mine seem to be angled up further than normal, which I “think” would simulate droop, like the wheels are off the ground, or making the suspension think your “coming down” therefore stiffening them up, if that makes sense? Not sure why the photos are rotating, but you get it.

I have the 2.7/1.5 Eibachs and the Zona links. My truck still has some of that "boat feeling" in street and Baja, but its more "controlled than it was before. Not stiff at all. I can put it in Sport and it firms up just like it did before the lift. I just went and measured my links but couldn't get a picture. I didn't have enough hands. Mine are exactly 5 1/2 inches from end to end measuring with a tape measure, and going from outside of one ball socket to the outside of the other.

I should probably measure mine too lol. I was going eyeball test. I might go buy some all thread and made a few different sizes just to try.

This is what stock looks like. Mine are all turning sideways too.

Pictures will do no good, different focal lengths change dimensions of things in the photo. You have to measure hands on and do the calculation we talked about.

My ZONA links have more threads/adjustment on them and different ends that the ones in you pictures., Oh, never mind....was looking at the wrong pictures

Agreed. Thet are basically strait out when stock. I'm going to try and get closer to that.

They do have a small amount of adjustment. It might be enough to play with. If not, I might grind down the stock ones to a different link. Those end pieces are just rubber and are easy to work with

This is a picture with the 1.6" Eibachs. OEM ride height sensor. CV angle looks great too.

Does anyone know of any shops in upper Michigan that will install the Eibach leveling kit ?? I have been turned down by two already so any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I put FMI leveling brackets on mine early on. Then installed a cap on the back. The combine shifts make it slighly squatty in the back. Enough to trigger errors in the sensors for the traffic signs. Just adding some experience. I know it isn't the most relevant. When I do my downpipes. There's a chance I take them off to get back to a more "level" look. The rears are really sort and I am surprised by how much they sag under weight.

I'm going the cheapass route this time........I put $7K+ worth of suspension in my Gladiator and I will never see that money again

Bag it. I have the airlift for 5000. Works great adjustable rear right height with the flick of a switch. Keep your front coils. You’ll be disappointed If you get rid of them. I have the coils on mine too.

Have you had issues with shifting like launch controls or when flooring it from a stop because of the ride height sensors also not reading speed limit signs as well???

No issues with the 1.6" level. At all. Had them on for about 9 months now. Quick note. I took that picture the same day I got the truck back. The installer forgot to transfer the rubber grommets from the OEM springs. That picture is metal on metal. No bueno. Make sure they use the rubber grommets from the OEM springs on the Eibachs.

Anyone have pics after having the 1.6” springs for a while? I’m curious if they settle or it always looks nose high. @yoda33073
