That's not completely true, they could stop using those drivers
That's not completely true, they could stop using those drivers
That is very possibleThey may already do that.
I'm not sure how often they use repeat drivers, though.
I think they use central dispatch, which probably feeds them new drivers all the time. There's tens of thousands of drivers that are moving all over the country. It's a pretty saturated industry.
I respectfully agree with your disagree.I respectfully fully disagree.
This is simply a case of people not taking pride in their work (as is common in third world counties, and becoming more prevalent in ours).
You can "get the job done and move onto the next thing" without getting mud all over someone's truck.
Anyone who works even remotely close to the trucking industry, or even has to deal with today's drivers, knows exactly what I'm talking about. The industry is a shell of what it used to be.
This is what happens when you allow the 3rd world to infiltrate your country in droves.
If you think I sound crazy, just wait to see the state of things in 30 years and I'll say I told you so.
Rant very much appreciated.I respectfully agree with your disagree.
I drive from Albany to Buffalo and back every week. The amount of incompetence, disregard for vehicle traffic laws, cell phone use not being to interpret traffic signs and laws from these piece of shit truck drivers of “today” is overwhelming. Being on the road 8 hours a week on the NYS Thruway you will form the same opinion. 75% are non citizens and it fucking shows. Not going to get political, but whoever thought it was a good idea giving these dickwads who can’t read or speak English a CDL to drive a 75000 # +- block of steel down the road at 80 mph deserves a special place in hell. Fuck them . Rant over
Yeah it is what it is. The car hauler isn't too concerned about it. But hopping in with muddy gloves and boots
I ordered my Last Call Hellcat Challenger from Koons and had EXCEPTIONAL delivery service. Truck driver and sales person took a TON of photos and handled my vehicle w/ care. Maybe I just have high standards when I pay for a service and expect whoever is handling my things w/ consideration and care. You might be ok w/ somebody driving your RHO to you and the touch points of the car is covered in BBQ sauce because they ate in your brand new close to $100k truck but I’m not. To me it’s the consideration factor of being careful w/ other ppls belongings.Lol. They are dudes doing a job. They are like a lot of us. Sometimes you just want to get it done and move on to the next thing. If you are so concerned about how your truck will be treated on the way to you, you should just fly to the dealer and pick it up yourself. Your literally paying someone to drive your truck a distance before you ever see it. That entails some amount of risk. You accept that risk when you pay someone else to drive your truck.
For what it is worth, I am accepting the risk as well. Someone will be driving my RHO from Mark Dodge to me. I just know that it will be in a less acceptable condition than if I picked it up myself from Mark Dodge. Now if there is permanent damage, then I would take that up with Mark Dodge. If it is dirty, well it would have been dirty if you drove it home too.
I was hoping MD tone doesn’t change AFTER selling the vehicle since I buy cars frequently and I’m a MoparOrNoCar guy own both wide body Last Call Hellcats Charger and Challenger and also the Durango Hellcat. I would buy multiple vehicles fr sales ppl that treat me right. If this is a great experience I would order the TRX through them but time will tell.I had paint damage to my truck...MD didn't give two shits about it,they were Super Nice about not giving a shit if that helps...Contacted driver and he denied damage and blocked my phone number...Had to pay someone to wet sand and polish the paint....So hopefully you don't have any damage.
1000%!!I respectfully fully disagree.

This is why I bought from a local dealer. Didn’t save quite as much, but if there was any damage to the truck, I could have refused the deal. Personally , I’d never buy a vehicle without being able to examine it first. I like predictability more than surprises in cases like this.Jeez, I was going to go with MD but decided to give my dealer a shot. After what I would have paid for shipping I got the same deal and I did not have to deal with that mess (and others I have heard about).
You in Rhodes Ranch or something?Just curious for anyone that had their trucks delivered from MD. Was the delivery done on one of those massive multi vehicle trailers or a much smaller (maybe 3 car) trailer. Just curious how close the drive will be able to get to my house.
No, Southern HighlandsYou in Rhodes Ranch or something?
Worst case, you could have them deliver it to Desert 215 dealership...or maybe the Smiths or Walmart parking lot? Might be able to drop it on Cactus, that road is pretty wide now.No, Southern Highlands
