Foutz pulled their 2” kit after I noticed transmission issues ( I know doesn’t make sense) and then Eibach pulled their kit shortly after when those customer noticed the same thing.
Theres a ton of info on here about it, but basically 2” + kits would cause the truck to stick in first gear and bounce off the rev limiter on a hard launch. The ride height sensors would max out and create and issues.
I spoke with Bobby at Zona Motorsports and he made a shorter link to bring the sensors back down to close to OEM. That fixed the issue, but I don’t think the suspension is back to being like it was.
If I could do it again, I’d get the springs from Eibach. Or spend big money on new ADS or king shocks to get the ride height and better suspension.
Not a suspension expert but I’m getting ready to add the eibach 2.7 front / 1.5 rear kit + zona kit , including upgrading tires to 37s on 18s . One of my buddies is insisting I also need to upgrade my shocks …
Given that I’ll find myself doing some off roading (3-4 times a year ) , I really wonder if I should really consider upgrading the shocks … decisions decisions
