Mark Dodge is excellent, from what I have read here and on other forums.

There are at least 2 closer to you, depending on your location in IN.: Granger Motors in Granger Iowa and Koons CDJR in Tysons VA. I can vouch for Granger and they offering 6% below factory invoice on a custom order. Not sure about Koons, I would search for info on both.

Samantha is the online rep at Granger. Welcome.

You are just about equal distance to Granger and Jim Glover CDJR in Owasso. I have spoken to him in the past about another truck.

I would say you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. I would call-email both of them and compare pricing. After you get quotes, then you can shop that quote to your local dealers, if you prefer to, and try to get a matching price.

Yeah, solid plan. The local dealer here, I worked for them for 4 years when I came off of active duty (finishing college).. they treat me very well there. I'm sure if I bring him something he can work with me (but they aren't a high volume dealer, so that may prevent some savings).

Hello all..

I don't currently own an RHO. I have owned a 2014 RAM 1500 since 2016.. love my truck, traded it in a few months ago when buying my wife a new SUV (only had 83K on the clock).. I miss it tons!!

I'm in the new truck market now and trying to decide what I want. 👀 I have driven the F-150 Raptor and Ranger Raptor (was more impressed with the Ranger variant).. I've given the ZR2 and Trail Boss (both 6.2) a drive..but yet to drive an RHO. I love the idea of it and of the above mentioned trucks, the Ranger was the most enjoyable to drive, wife just thinks we need a full-size still (just in case).

I'm 41, retired military.. oldest son is in the Air Force, youngest son is a sophomore in high school. I drive my work vehicle daily (even off hours due to my on-call status).. so I put 3-5k/year on a vehicle.

Just joined the forum to get a good vibe from actual owners as I am poised to buy in March-April time frame.... I'd love to hear the good and bad of ownership from everyone here. I do know I would be sticking with the base variant as the Level 1 RHO Equip group definitely puts the truck outside my desired budget and would make my wife intolerable to be around.

My old copperhead pearlcoat below..
I would recommend a base model RHO. Go drive one. You wont be more impressed with any truck at $73k or under. No comparison. Good luck. FYi Mark Dodge in Louisiana gives like $7k-$8k off so for $65k, its really a no brainer.

Welcome!! Thank you for your service 🙏. You should have no issue getting one for under $65k, I did. Mark dodge will take care of you and ship it to your driveway. The "base" model is awesome. Has everything you need and super high quality.

I have zero regrets and I usually go fully optioned. Love this truck exactly how it is. Wife and i had just bought our dream house when I was ordering in 2024 so figured i would put the extra $10k from not getting level 1 into an appreciating asset (the house) rather than a depreciating vehicle. I am beyond happy I did this. Maybe level 1 on the next order but for 10k more, the seats better do more than massage me! Lol

Happy to answer any questions! This forum is filled with great people.

Yeah.. I am going to drive one after work today. I was really impressed with the Ranger Raptor, not as much with the F-150 Raptor, but I am very hopeful about the RHO.

Jim Butler in Linn, MO also beat every price I could find, including other dealers mentioned here, so worth another shot. Your best bet is to take a couple of hours getting quotes from each of these and figure out which dealer makes most sense for you. Your local dealer probably isn’t going to come close.

As for your questions, no, you can’t get sunroof without L1. That option alone tipped me towards the L1 purchase. Sounds like you’ll still be over your $65k target for a L1, though, so you will just have to let that one go.

If you search around here, you’ll see quite a few issues with the RHO. Most of which are battery/electrical related. Most of which are also relatively minor issues, but of course some folks have had some pretty terrible experiences. Sadly that seems to be the case no matter what you look for, but I think realistically most of us will sing praises of our experiences.

My RHO is nearing 12k mi and I’ve been really pleased with it. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over again.

Agreed on all.. I didn't want a L1 package for under 65k.. just a base, but would swing a little more if I could get just the panoramic sunroof added also.

I gave one a drive today. Didn't open it up as much as I wanted to, but was a great ride. It had the RHO Level 1 Equipment Group, was nice..but plenty of stuff I would never use with that package.

Yeah, base RHO is fantastic if you have a budget. Go for it.

I enjoyed it.. felt a lot like the Ranger Raptor, just a little quicker and a lot more interior space.

I'm going to need to drive the 3 trucks again on longer test drives before I decide.. visually the RHO is absolutely my favorite, followed by the Ranger Raptor, then ZR-2..

The ONLY thing the ZR-2 has over the other trucks is the sweet sweet V8 exhaust note, sounds great from the factory. Every other aspect, the win goes to the RHO/Ranger Raptor. So it's really a decision between the two of them.

The RHO warranty means a lot to me. I drive 3000-5000 miles a year.. having 10 years of coverage on it gives me some relief (since mileage never really gets me before time does).

I'm pretty sure you can add the sunroof alone, without the L1. How much is the Ranger Raptor ???

Pretty sure your not gonna get one for 65 :D:ROFLMAO::D
Why not? plenty have. keep the msrp on your build 74k or less , subtract $9k off discount, gets you easily under $65k. I mean if you just ordered plain base, $71k msrp,- $9k discount puts you at $62k.

False, you cannot add sunroof without L1.

I looked it up the other day when it was mentioned. There’s not a single Base RHO with a sunroof.
