My RHO ownership has been riddled with electrical issues, most of which resolve after restarting the truck… but shake my confidence and enjoyment in the truck nonetheless. Well, yesterday I hit a new record when starting the vehicle up. Truly something to be proud of!
I had driven to a gas station, shut the truck down, then found the pump wasn’t working. About 30 seconds later I started the truck back up and that’s when it decided to go crazy. I got the “beep” when the cluster started up, and that’s when I knew I was in for it. It flashed a ton of different systems errors, most of which I didn’t capture.
It for sure lost traction control, power steering, lane assistance, active dampening system, blind spot monitoring, etc, and engine power was notably reduced. I’m confident that wasn’t all of them, but those are the ones I noticed.
Is there a way to capture what all errors exist on the truck? I’m not fast enough to get my phone out to record them all, as each error flashes once on the main display then changes to display the next error.
I guess I’m supposed to just ignore these since they go away on next startup? Nothing to see here…
