No cruise control and snowy conditions

Has anyone by chance found a way to turn off adaptive cruise altogether? I think I found the only thing I absolutely hate about my RHO. when my front sensors are covered with snow. I have no cruise control at all. Does anybody know a way to turn off the adaptive cruise control to just have plane cruise control?

Hate it also, though in this case one could argue you wouldn't want cruise on if the conditions were slick (I'm guilty of it too, though).

Wait, so is the entire cruise control system based on the vehicle distance in front of me? I’ve had this on other vehicles and despise it. There’s no way to disable it?

I think just base Rho has standard cruise control but nobody has confirmed.

No Standard Cruise Control for Level1

Not sure how I feel about no standard cruise control on Level 1 package. I drive for a living and hit highways for hundreds of miles a day. Adaptive has always been great in traffic or "city" driving but is frustrating when trying to fly down the road. So inconvenient when you are cruising...

Most of the new vehicles today the cruise shuts itself off if the tires spin at all ! therefore im pretty comfortable using it in shitty conditions, (but ya gotta stay ready for shit to go sideways) !!!

I’m definitely good with no cruise control in snow. However, the adaptive cruise is a PITA on a 2 lane highway. Or, maybe I just need to be more away, but I’m always surprised to look down and see I’m 5-10mph under the speed limit at a SUPER safe distance behind a vehicle in front of me.

I guess I’ll just have to hope Tazer can correct this once it becomes available for 2025s.
