People who have Jb4

Why would the Limited lose top end? Don’t they have same motor setup and power but just weigh less? Same power with less weight always faster. The gap closes more up top but it’s still a gap, plus the extra aero of the RHO’s wide body.

The only big difference could be in gearing if that is different vs the Limited/Tungsten.
Limited is "limited" lol to 105mph, the RHO's limit is 118mph. The Limited/Tungsten are hitting their top speed before they reach the 1/4 mile.

I plan on doing just this next week
Perhaps the RHO doesn’t make full boost during launch control, whereas the TRX is supercharged and ready immediately off the line?
Tuners may have to play with launch control programming to get it to build more boost.

Also, on the map 4 setting (kill mode) with the right fuel, the trap speed in the 1/4 mile should be indicative of the power this is making compared to the TRX.

We realistically probably need a side by side race of a JB4 RHO vs stock TRX.
When I race my brother who has a stock trx, what rpm should I launch to?

We also have forced cold air and a more free flowing exhaust. Not saying that negates the 35's etc but it does help close the gap.

It probably doesn’t negate the 35’s or the extra drag from being wide body and lifted, however…

I’d still be curious if the RHO and Limited were run on a dyno, same day, with same wheels, if there would be any difference.

Was wondering if it’s worth it? Anyone have problems with it? Notice a big difference?
I installed the JB4 tuner a few months ago as it was my first major upgrade and I can tell you that it makes me smile every day. Map 2 - 4.4 sec 0-60 & 11.5 sec 0-100. It's a noticeable difference! I already took my to the Baja Raptor Run for 5 days and the truck smoked all the tuned Ford EcoBoost Raptors and wasn't to far behind the Raptor R. its so fun! I have added Octane booster w/ MMT additive to get closer to 93-95 octane and it's pretty amazing!
