Placing 3rd order.. level 1 worth it? After having it, I feel like I need some convincing.

Hey all, so as most of you know I’ll be placing a 3rd order after my truck engine failed and for the short time I had it I started to doubt that Level 1 is worth $10k.
•passenger screen felt like a gimmick that won’t get used

•massage chairs are alright but most likely will forget they are there unless I go on a road trip

•sound system was just okay, didn’t sound like a upgrade or anything special.

Sounds like the main thing I’ll be missing is a sunroof that I wanted and truck color options.. what am I missing? Surround cameras? Heads up display? Ventilated rear seats? Hands free driving?

Someone please convince me I still need level 1.

My wife loved it but this is my truck and I’m starting to doubt it’s worth it because $10k savings sound nice but I also like nice things. Will resale value hold up better? Or will no one care on the used market that you spent $10k more..obviously not a investment purchase but still..
 
Probably worth it besides the passenger screen is a scam never use it would rather have storage box

The other part that’s throwing me off is on the list of level 1 it’s says things like, Apple car play, leather steering wheel, HD radio, GPS navigation, memory seats. Like all that comes without the level 1, why is it listed as an upgrade.
 
You def can't beat the value of level 0. If you're already thinking about it then I think you'll love the Rho so much you'll forget about level 1. For me, there are days where I drive 200+ miles on highway few times a week so hands free driving was a must. Sunroof as well since I came from a Gladiator. Other than that, I don't care for anything else. For resale value, my guess is you're not geting alot of the 10k back unless you sell it privately and find someone that needs hands free as much as I do. I don't know much about the trx but maybe that'll be a good starting point

Are they giving you your money back for your truck failing?
 
Base model with a forum discount is a steal. Without a huge discount, I would probably go Level 1. Just mental block I have - if I am paying 80k+ for a vehicle, it better have the bells and whistles. At 61-63k (with a forum discount), for what you get, a base level RHO is hard to beat. Ram has f*ed up my two prior orders, so I am on my 3rd order as well. Hope Ram takes care of you.

They lump all of these options together on purpose. I'd order it with the level 1 package. I think you'll shoot yourself in the foot for resale. Without it it's gonna limit buyers. I think most people would want it. I know some of the stuff is a bit gimmicky. But there's also stuff that most people would expect like car play and ventilated seats. The TRX level 1 trucks (base) where a much harder sell.

95% sure they are but will be talking to owner thursday. I just wanna be ready to place another order if this is the case and have a decision made on what I’m ordering.

No way base model comes without Apple car play.. hmm you might be right, my wife used to have a Tesla and if she ended up buying the full self driving for $10k, we would have lost all that money, full self driving never went into the value of the car and everyone that got it didn’t get a penny more for their car when selling it. That’s where my concern kinda comes from

I’m pretty sure someone on these forums got the level 0. I would be shocked if it didn’t have the CarPlay it still has the 12 in display. The 360 camera is what I’d be curious about.

If I had the option I would order lvl 0 ... lvl 0 does have Apple car play and android auto

2021 TRX lvl 1 68K resale value >> lvl 2 68 lol
2024 TRX lvl 1 82K >> lvl 2 83K

you can go on KBB and check yourself

Basically.. After few years the market would not recognize the trim option, especially when it comes to RAM

You can check it under Standard Features>>Audio&Uconnect multimedia>> Entertainment components>> Apple Carplay
 
The answer to this question is subjective. Personally, when I buy a car, I prefer it to be fully loaded. Others may prefer a base model. Overall, I believe the $10,000 package is worth it. For comparison, ordering a similar package from a brand like Mercedes would cost at least $20,000.

I justified the level 1 with the incentives offered, was a no brainer for me.
