@ramcare

I want to tell you an issue I am having with Ramcare, It is a vent session; but I need honest feedback. I could be wrong.

Issue with my RHO: The tires are choppy (diagnosed from a tire shop that was not the dealer), bouncy and do not ride smooth. I have had the truck 3 months and have put 6,000 miles on her. Dealer road force balanced the tires, but did not give me any specs on how misaligned or out of round they were. Dealer did not check suspension and control arms.

I told the dealer I was not happy with the outcome as it is riding the same. He told me take it up with Goodyear as this is a wear and tear item. I would not expect this much wear and tear on tires that have been driven for 3 months.

I contacted Ramcare and received a case number. After 3 weeks of back and forth with Ramcare (which appears to be a call center outside the US), they sided with the dealership.

I would have thought they would help setup an appointment at another dealership to get another viewpoint and have other items checked out. They did not.

I am frustrated that I get this service of help when buying a $80k - $90K truck.

Let me know your thoughts. Whether good or bad. Let me have it.

Tom

Side information – the dealer that serviced my truck was not the one I bought it from. That dealership is 3 hours away. I mention that as it seemed to be a pain point for the servicing dealer.

Feel free to DM us with your case number. We'll gladly check into this for options of support.

It is a huge downfall for people who love the vehicles but absolutely hate taking it to the dealerships for any reason, very few are knowledgeable on anything technical and have to help them along with diagnosing any issues. Then the unable to duplicate answers even when it is proven to there faces. They just don’t want to deal with warranty and I understand as I was a Chrysler Tech for ten years and they don’t pay enough for warranty work.

No, that pretty well tracks.

Ram Cares will get you into contact with a case manager and they do that job well… but the case manager experience is horrible. My last case manager responded to me the first time with “I reviewed your case and I don’t know how I can help you”. He held true to his word after a couple of months of not making any helpful progress. Case just closed and again with no resolution.

^^ Very true!

regular case managers are horrible.. retention managers on the other hand call me twice a week with updates, totally different approach
