Do any of you guys know the part number for the rear fender flare? (black plastic) need a replacement. The dealers around here seem to think it’s the standard 1500 flare or at least that’s the part number they gave me which doesn’t have the opening for the marker light.

its definitely not a standard flare, which side do you need?

Thanks guys. I can’t tell by looking if they have the cutout for the marker light but you guys both came up with same number. Mopar parts direct just says it fits ram 1500 not specifically rho.

I’m a CDJR parts manager. I used my RHO VIN to look it up. That pic is a screen grab straight from the Star Parts catalog. Let me know if you need help with any other parts issues.

Thanks man I really appreciate it. I will hit the dealership up again with the part number and see how much they want to mark it. It’s $60 on mopar direct but $128 just for shipping.

Hate to hijack but, I guess I will anyway :)

I need the part number for the driver side front plastic fender flare.

Thank you!

Ordered from Bam. Was cheaper through them even with shipping. My dealer wanted $130.

$130??? That's crazy! Were they shipping it for that price? The MSRP/List from from RAM is only $98.90

I have this argument with them all the time. They mark everything up 10 to 20%. When I ordered my power boards they said “we are giving you wholesale/our cost, $1980. I said that’s literally the cost from Ram/Mopar”. They said, “they list our cost not yours”.

Needless to say I don’t buy many parts from them.

For the trim piece I paid $90 shipped from BAM. Felt like a steal compared to the dealer.

Buy it from Amazon. Everyone has crazy shipping fees. I have seen as high as $230. My local dealers are stroke bags too and utilize a matrix and dont abide by MSRP.

I got my front flare shipped to my door for 89 plus tax and free shipping.

We parked our truck in front of a neighbors house while our car port was being built and his lawn dude scratched ours pretty good but denied any responsibility. Oh well.

For the benefit of others looking for part numbers on fender flares, here's the list (same as the TRX):

Front:
Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6VZ38GXHAA)
Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6VZ39GXHAA)
Rear:
Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Right - Mopar (6VZ36GXHAB)
Wheel Opening Flare Molding, Left - Mopar (6VZ37GXHAB)

Can't tell from the pics. How are these installed? Screws or clips? I remember from my Jeep days you had to include a bag of the clips if you were removing them. Only a small percentage survived. 😄

Clips. Part #68257098AA. You can reuse many of the clips if you're careful taking the original flare off. But the top clips aren't accessible and will definitely have to be replaced (5 per flare).
