Alright gents next update is the @Mikey Swift stock muffler & valve delete / + flow master 72469 flowFX swap special. Background, I came from a clapped out 06 5.7 hemi w/ dual strait pipes no muffler essentially, once I got used to that concussion grenade going off every time I started the vehicle and my ears stopped bleeding, it sounded very loud, aggressive and pretty good as long as under 30 mph, otherwise it would set off every car alarm within a mile radius.

If your’e looking for something LOUD like that, this is NOT the swap for you, however I will say this made the truck at least 30-35% louder and accentuated the sound in such a manner of a deep non-raspy tone.

PERFORMANCE is night and day, this exhaust swap makes the feel of the throttle response 30-40% quicker and it’s easily felt through the skinny pedal every time you step on it. Completely changed the dynamic of the truck, especially in sport mode.

COST was a measly $250 in so cal and about an hour to swap and my welder had two working eye balls, and his name was not cock eyed Joe, it was actually Jose, whom I tipped an extra $20 for the good welds haha.

Absolute change of the truck - priceless.

If you’re on the fence just do it.

Also added a cold start clip and a 1st-2nd gear pull from dead stop.

Sound is deeper tone in person.

I couldn’t agree more, haven’t heard other exhausts but it for sure has a deep tone in person and just sounds classy, no raspy or tingy sound! Thanks @Mikey Swift for going down the rabbit hole on this one for us, I would say this is prob the most drastic change you could make to the truck for $400
