Roar vs Pedal Commander

I have Roar Pedal. Love it. O ly connects to the throttle and is controlled by Bluetooth. After about 4 months of experimenting, sport+3 is my sweet spot.

2 questions.

1. Does the Eco mode actually help MPG, as they claim? If so how much?

Normal driving I probably would not worry about but on long trips if it helps it might be worth it. And would probably use the sport modes etc.

2. What do these things do with our warranties? Do you need to remove them before taking them to the dealer for work? Not that if they hook it to the computer they wont be able to see one was used.

I have never used Eco mode. I bought it for the turbo lag. I got beat to an on-ramp by a Corolla and knew i needed to add something. I have always run it on Sport+. I went from Sport+ 5 down to sport+ 3 so I dont have to baby the throttle. On long drives, im usually at 77 mph and get decent gas mileage.

As far as the warranty goes, you would have to be bringing it in for something that would be somehow connected to the throttle. I doubt if you left the Roar Pedal physically on and turned it to "Normal 0" via Bluetooth, the dealer would even notice it was on. Its a super small device that is only connected to the throttle. But if you needed to, you could just remove it. There is no connection to the OBD port so there is no trace of it anywhere once removed.

Its really almost the 3rd or 4th mod that should be done after tint and ceramic. Its night and day how it drives. Its like driving in "sport mode" without the constsnt high rev rate. Its a must have. Definitely would recommend. Just follow the instructions when installing. I let my truck sleep by leaving the door open and the key fob tucked away in a Faraday bag for 30 min. Installed and was good to go. I cant recommend it enough. They go on sale sometimes. I got mine for $129 during Christmas. Good luck.

What is this ECO mode you speak of never heard of her?

Lolol. Dude I gunned it from a dead stop and the Corolla took off on me because of the damn turbo lag. I was like, "hell noooo." Bought the Roar Pedal 3 days later. Lol
I had the same thing with a Challenger, but I have the Roar Pedal. Only thing is I haven't installed it yet 😕
