So I emailed DC last evening hoping to get them to shed some light on timing and I got this response:

“Hi Paul,

We have not herd a word on this! There are a number of other things in process with V8"s and the NASCAR stuff that management is going through. If a tuner was thought of I could not see that
before the end of 2026.

Thank you for your interest in Direct Connection.”

What the hell?!?!?!?

I was really looking forward to a tuner under warranty. Here’s to hoping whoever replied is just wrong, but doesn’t sound good.

We have not herd a word on this! There are a number of other things in process with V8"s and the NASCAR stuff that management is going through. If a tuner was thought of I could not see that
before the end of 2026.

What the hell?!?!?!?

I was really looking forward to a tuner under warranty. Here’s to hoping whoever replied is just wrong, but doesn’t sound good.

WTF. Total opposite from what they were telling me (and what people said they heard at SEMA).

This is exactly why I hate relying on the aftermarket for shit. Truck should have came with 620hp from the factory so we didn't have to fuck with it and install tuners.

Oh well. Old news. I will just enjoy the truck as it is for now, while I still have it. Still a blast.

To be honest, once they announced the TRX, my interest in the tuner went from about a 10 to a 3. Money for this tuner will simply be used as the deposit for TRX order.

Looks like I was right...the tuner is as likely as the digital key coming to market. I'll wait to get out of warranty and then buy a JB4 or CAT6.

Why wouldn't you just wrap it in the same color if your truck is problem free and you like it. Trade in and buy another one will cost you way more than a quality wrap. Plus I think that orange looks cool but all those bright colors kind of lose their luster to me pretty quick. Then you can take the wrap off lol
