See yall on the next exciting forum. Selling the RHO

Buddy of mine just got one. Keeps talking about some tuner from Ford that wakes it up…big time.

C&D says Ranger Raptor has fantastic paved road manners, yet still highly capable off-road.

I sat in one…at 6’2”, 275#, I wasn’t comfortable. My buddy is rather small in stature, so it’s a better size for him than his last Ram 1500.

Best of luck, Dan!
I’m 6’ but I daily a maverick and im comfortable in it. I’m guessing interior space is about the same. Didn’t have a chance to test drive one yet.

Looking forward to your review…just be sure the title of the thread says, “Non-RHO content…enter at your own risk!”

After my first RHO engine hydrolocked at 20 miles same day I bought it, every time I’d be driving on a highway with crappy road that makes the truck vibrate a little I assume it’s the engine failing… that’s how it felt right before engine died, it just vibrated the entire truck… outside of barley using it, I have trust issues with it. Always wonder if I’ll make it home or where I’m going. Shitty feeling to have on a $75k truck.. it’s like PTSD 🤣. Otherwise awesome truck that I’d still recommend to others

How poetic! Luv it.

Seems 3L is perfect for Ranger sized vehicle. I always felt it was silly small for a full-size plus vehicle like RHO. Turns out, I was right!

Sure, with 28 psi of boost, SST HO makes impressive numbers. But you can’t get around the small displacement just feeling wrong in such a large American truck.

Can’t wait to hear your driving impressions. I’d have that exact truck the size worked for me & my Rottie.

Denver Colorado!
I live on the Front Range, could be interested in the wheels/tires if still available. Are the tires stock? Looking for 37’s.

What does this even mean? The performance exceeds all competitors and yet the "displacement feels wrong"?

Ha! Really?

Just hit the start button & listen. Then drive it & try to keep rpms under 2K. Yeah, that’s where 3L I6 falls short. It sounds like a ‘98 Honda Civic with a fart-can exhaust & lacks instant, low rpm torque.

AMG learned their lesson. They built 2.0L turbo fours to replace the 4.0L turbo V8s. Performance “numbers”, like 0-60, actually improved. But what couldn’t be measured with a stopwatch was lost. And sales tanked.

But keep drinking the Kool aid, dude.
