I plan on removing the 4x4 on the back and the two 'ram' emblems on the side.Has anyone shaved the emblems off of there RHO yet?
Old school referenceShaved? You mean pull off then use rubber wheel to get emblem tape off?
Same, but I'm also doing the RHO emblem on the back too.I plan on removing the 4x4 on the back and the two 'ram' emblems on the side.
Excellent question as I'll be removing everything, on my '24 gmc there were no alignment holesYou are going to have alignment holes to fill if you take the RAM off the tailgate
Pretty sure I know it's not a GMC, but thanks for clarifying. This is not a GMC. There are ~18 alignment holes if the same as the TRX.
I'll be giving mine a Brazilian because she deserves it. RAM on the back is gonna be hole-tastic, and I'll either fill em or fabricate something different that uses the stock holes. Either way its a bit of work.Has anyone shaved the emblems off of there RHO yet?
After fishing line or floss, I use goo-gone or goo-off and then just thorough car wash to get any remaining chemical residue and ceramic after.I’ve removed the “4x4” from the tailgate. Used non-wax dental floss to “saw” thru the adhesive backing. The adhesive came off with either WD40 or rubbing alcohol…I don’t remember which.
I’ve found most automotive adhesives are safely dissolved by either WD40 or rubbing alcohol. If one doesn’t work, try the other.
Rubber wheel makes it sooooo easy. This is the way.Shaved? You mean pull off then use rubber wheel to get emblem tape off?
