Do you like your SPEQ? I can’t stand the drone.

I honestly do, I like the deep tone and it sounds like a sports car when you get on it.
As for the drone, the first week it drove me a little crazy like what did I just buy, but now 8 months in I really don't notice it. My wife loves the way it sounds and actually told to just give it awhile to see if I like it. She said the drone wasn't bad at all to her and this is coming from a woman who has supersonic hearing.
Previous truck was hemi with borla atak exhaust so this is much more tamer then that (which honestly I thought I'd miss but don't).
But to find aftermarket one without drone....well good luck.

I have the Magnaflow SPEQ and I hate it. Drone is terrible and I can’t tell if its faster but the burping at WOT is amazing. I just wish something could be done about the highway speed Drone at 2000 RPM’s

I put on the MBRP and hated them. Didn't know what drone meant but do now! Great exterior sound, but unbearable on the road. Took it off after a week and and put the AWE OFG. Sounds as good, maybe louder, but has the anti dronign tech and you dont hear it on the interstate, other than when you let it rip.

Sorry to hear on the drone, it really is annoying, straight 6's love to do it, had a E46 M3 back in the day with a full exhaust and catless downpipe it was unbearable on the thruway, literally hurt your ears.
But IMO there is no reason $2000+ cat back exhausts should do it, design that shit better lol
