The microwave.
In your house.
Caused the truck battery to fully discharge.
Please Call them back and get a recording or have them send that to you in writing! That has to be one of the most batshit insane hot takes I've ever heard. Lmfao! Why am I never lucky enough to get idiots like this on the phone! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Seriously though, any decent dealership is going to hook the batteries to a load tester and check for bad cells. Had my GMC Canyon for 7 months before I started having battery issues. Took it in and they ran their test procedure. The battery tested bad so they put a new one in and I was out the door and on my way at no cost. If all your dealership did was charge it up and then refer you to Flat Earth Fred in the warranty department, then it is definitely time to find a new shop! ๐Ÿ˜‚
100% truthful. The '19 Limited was completely dead twice in my garage. It had air suspension, which was completely deflated, and the interior dome lights/retractable side steps were inoperable. After the 2nd time and having it towed to the dealer while having a STAR case active with Ram, they had it 4 days and said the regional rep said he believed my microwave may be setting off a module, and they wouldn't approve a battery replacement. THAT'S exactly why I have a little concern about this situation.

I completely believe you. Just meant it was absolutely crazy the rep would suggest it's your microwave causing it! Short of you smashing out the glass door of the microwave, placing it directly in the engine bay, and running the popcorn setting on high for about 40 ninutes there's no way that's what was causing the dead battery. Even then it'd be debatable. That rep was either legally brain dead, a complete scam artist, or both! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Although I'd never be concerned, I had a '19 Limited a few years ago with 11k miles that went completely dead while parked in my garage. During the 2nd time, I had it towed into the dealership while dead since they couldn't find a problem the 1st time after I recharged it. After having it for 4 days and not hearing anything, I reached out to inquire. They again stated they couldn't find an issue as it recharged fully. When I asked if they'd simply replace the battery under warranty, they said they reached out to the regional Stellantis rep, and he believed it may be the microwave in my house setting off a module in the truck and wouldn't replace the battery. I had to decide between the Ram and my sons' Hot Pockets, so I sold it shortly thereafter.
I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Stellantis warranty coverage, which is magnified by giving 10 yr/100k warranties on '26 RHOs but neglecting every '25 owner. Time will tell.
Sounds like that rep needs to be fucking fired !! And if the dealership didn't tell that rep that he was out of his fucking mind I would be looking for another dealership because OBVIOUSLY this dealership is a bunch of idiots if they believed him !!!
