Purchased a new wheel and tire set from customoffset.com. TPMS included. Had local shop install. They can't read the TPMS. Took to Tire Discounters thinking, hey all they do is tires, they gotta be able to sync them, NOPE. He showed me his tool and it looked like it only went to 2022(how that is, no idea being we in 2025). Went on Amazon and bought a brand new handheld machine to do it myself, it reads the TPMS, but it also only goes up to 2024 so i do everything by the instructions, everything shows up green, it reads the psi on the machine, but it still doesn't seem to want to sync on the dashboard once i plug it in, even after it shows "Successful". No idea where i go from here.

Need a tool that updates and lots of shops save money by not purchasing the updates (not cheap). I use a pro Autel but pay for updates (annual subscription) and it has all the 2025 RAM line but under "Dodge" still.

Find a thriving shop or call around to see if they pay to play in the update game.

Did you register it? I don't know how their non-pro models work but Pro models won't let you download updates without registering and it comes with a year of updates for free (sometimes 2)

Also, obvious but it would need to be setup on your wifi.

Yes. And out of the box it did several updates

That should work. You should reach out to Autel, they have excellent customer service. Explain your issues, what it does and what it isn't doing and they should be able to get you sorted or tell you which model you'd need. I'd be surprised if they can't get you sorted with that model though.

Did you try the "DT" option? I've had to play around with it on occasion (not generally).

Following. would love to know which TPMS to buy for aftermarket wheels ASAP. Making my Personal wheels soon so need to make sure and order the correct sensors!

Do you still have the TPMS from the old factory wheels? If so, have them use those. That’s what I had to do on my ram TRX.

I'd send that into Autel support. They respond fast and could help steer you best. As @RAP2RHO mentioned, you could use your original TPMS sensors too if you needed.
I sold everything. This just seems nuts to me. Of all things to have an issue.

LOL, it's not that nuts. TPMS can be weird, I took my wife's car in for patch a few months back after she hit a nail and tire shop nuked all her sensors and tried to sell me new ones. I played dumb for about 2 minutes and then tee'd off on them. Magically all the sensors came to life ;). Got a free patch and tire rotation out of the deal, so I wasn't mad.

Last thought, did you have Autel MX TPMS sensors installed in the tires or OEM?

This seems odd but that might be what separates the pro vs these units.

Not sure what was in the OEM...the ones in the new tires are MX Sensors.

Save yourself more headaches and get the OEM TPMS, nick @797performance can get you the OEM sensors. I used a new set of OEM sensors and they synced up automatically. no tool was needed

yeh, i've been trying to do that. I message 1 person and they said he received a link to checkout but didn't send me anything. I just message nick about the same thing and no response. So if anyone could provide me a link to the OEM sensors that would be great

Speaking as "the one person who didn't send you anything" I did respond and let you know that you can't find them on the 797 website. They aren't listed; you have to get a hold of @Nick797 to send you an invoice.

Im good. I’ll buy from mopar website. A bit more in price. Thanks to everyone who responded.
