Subwoofer set-up that should work in RHO

I went Kicker Hideaway 10...just enough fill to balance everything nicely, and not be too boomy.
Where did you install it, Mikey? Under the seat, or in the stock sub location? Thanks!

Under the rear seat, passenger side in the storage box...45° angle, lays in there perfect.

Hertz DSP, Hertz CP5.1K amp, and a Hertz 10" sub in a custom box. Sounds absolutely amazing--the factory speakers are actually quite good and this setup fills out the dynamic range really

As the former Director of Sales of Hertz/Audison i can confirm the Hertz is best sounding sub for the money , the next step would be the Trulii sub but its pricey . JL sub 2nd to Hertz but both tops in the industry .

Had never heard of Hertz until recently.

Back in the 90's I had an Orion subwoofer which was top of the line back then & was great and all but it is hard to really beat a JL Audio subwoofer for the regular everyday person who wants great crisp bass without overdoing it. Kicker would be my 2nd choice. Both of these brands have great sounding speakers without having to spend a crazy amount of money. For amp I always go with Alpine.

Yes i was are in the 90s too lol . I had Orion amps back in the day .Hertz been around 30 years italian base company, Kicker subs awesome no issues there . For shallow mount subs the Hertz are tough to beat .

Did you disconnect the factory subwoofer? I never heard of this brand, but YouTube reviews are outstanding!

Yes you would disconnect the factory sub.

Next Sema will have a booth displaying all our new products . www.modusglobal.com

We will have a full line of car and marine , adding more SKUs ... web site just went live but more to see on instagram/facebook

Perfect. Just need your company to get the wire connectors made for the speakers and let us know what size/depth we can fit! And to make speakers that would perform well with the factory DSP amp lol

There will be a Maestro integration soon I'm sure but yes we have our DSP software already. April you'll see official launch of full line of products. If you are wanting something now you can't go wrong with Hertz

I did not disconnect the factory sub, I run it in conjunction with the Kicker 10...I did have to reverse the phase on the Kicker to keep them from cancelling each other out.

Can you help me out.
I have my sub, amp and amp wiring kit.
But I don’t have a harness yet, not the ANC harness.

What harness did you go with? Where did you get the inputs for the new sub? And I assume you used a ANC harness?
Any help would be appreciated!!

I had a shop do it, they used a harness that has a gain knob mounted in the center console...a set of RCAs and power run back to the sub. ANC bypass is part of this harness...if you don't bypass this system, it will cause feedback to the sub. Check Net Audio's website for some sub harnesses that do all this as well.
