First time truck owner here so please excuse the ignorance. Is the truck supposed to feel loose on the front end while driving over bumps? I noticed it the other day when braking and going over an uneven road surface, the whole front end shook quite a bit.

Welcome to the off-road suspension world. What driving mode are you in?

Oh, for Houston, I would definitely go Baja 😂

Facts. 😆 I guess I should get used to the jumps!

Go to drive modes and change suspension to SPORT. I have my suspension and steering changed to sport on AUTO setting. You can also leave auto the way it is but change custom drive mode but you will have to change to that drive mode every time you drive.

Thank you! I’ll try that out today.

Sport will turn off traction control and with all the awesomeness of Houston roads, you may want that. I found auto to be best around Houston but yeah suspension will soak up the roads, and if you think its bad, then you'd REALLY hate literally all other normal trucks. I drove around with 2025 RAM Hemi 2500 for a day and felt like I spent the whole day riding bareback. The RHO was like a hover car in comparison

You don't change to sport drive mode but on auto or custom mode change suspension to sport and it will not turn off any traction or anything.

All us Houston guys need to get together for a beer and grub!

Instant difference in changing the steering and suspension in Auto mode to Sport. Thanks for the info!

Good to hear and I have 10k plastic bumper plugs for y'all lol

Chris

Thank you, but that was one of the first purchases before I received my truck. 😆

H-Town (Cypress) here as well.

I use Custom mode with Sport everything except steering and I use Street for that.

In the uconnect, instrument panel or the mode buttons below starter?

Welcome to the on-road behaviors of an Off-Road Sports Truck!

My wife complains the truck bounces too much on the roads.

I've had her in some minor off-road encounters twice, and she eats up everything thrown at her, then asks for seconds...

Yes after you do changes in uconnect after they are saved and can just use mode button to change. If you do changes to auto mode it will stay that way every time you start the truck.
Awesome! I haven't played with the custom setting yet, as I still can't figure out how to make my blind spot camera automatically pop up when I hit turn signal, or a quick way to enter a custom parking camera when pulling in. I seriously think I could park an Abrams easier and better than I've been able to park the RHO.
