Is everybody happy with the ride of this truck ?? Maybe its just my truck, but it feels like the shocks are shot !!! (800 miles) It just doesn't feel like the suspension is working right !
Just looking for a little feedback as I have the only one within 200 miles so I can't compare with another one !!!!! Let me know what you all think of yours !!

Go rip it on some offroad with speed , its where these suspensions shine, they are not tuned for low speed bumps like a rock crawler. Mine definetly feels more planted and incites more confidence than Raptors ive had, slightly firmer but when you ramp up speed it really outshines the raptor, much more stable and soaks the bumps better. Handling is something nobody talks about but the handling is so much better on RHO. It corners alot better and feels much more confident in rough terrain.

Buddy, that is very real. I’ve watched my fair share of RHO reviews and nearly zero of them talk about the suspension or any real off-road use… it’s gross.

Right!!! The suspension kicks ass on these trucks for the intended use. I was in a TRX about 3 years ago in the Arizona desert and we were hitting massive jumps (50+ feet of air) , whoop sections at crazy high speed and felt like you were in a Cadillac, smoothest ride ever. I was grinning ear to ear and giggling like a little girl in utter disbelief. I truly never realized how damn good these trucks suspensions were in stock form until that point but they do have well over a foot of suspension travel so makes sense. I love than ram and ford make trucks of this caliber and capability.

Now that ive had both raptor and ram i will never not own one of these amazing trucks.

Yes, I do need to do just that !! I haven't had time yet but I plan on doing so soon !!!

Sucks for me. Im used to my built SxS with custom suspension. I was disappointed In the truck off road. Then I remembered it’s still a stock off road truck. So it’s all good.

Please enlighten us how is "sucks" . Lol. You are literally comparing a go cart (sxs) with upgraded suspension to a 6000 lb truck with some of the best suspension on the market.

Its like me saying Im so mad because my RHO doesn't ride offroad like my dirtbike with cone valve suspension, so therefore it sucks....lol

Unless there's something wrong with your suspension?

Hahaha. I never said I was “so mad” I said I was disappointed, then I said “it’s all good”, remember?

I’m just saying my first drive off road was lackluster, my expectations were too high because, well frankly I didn’t know what to expect. Sure, it rides 100x better than my Ram 2500, but it’s still a factory “off road” truck trying to be decent off road and still be usable on road.

Don’t get me wrong, It’s fun but it doesn’t blow my skirt up like some of the guys who haven’t been in anything else like it. And that’s ok it’s a good truck.

Drink some coffee, watch the sun come up and try and relax.

Mine absolutely gobbles up speed bumps on the way into the golf course. Exactly what I was looking for - could not be happier with suspension.

I've tried that and it’s a little better but not much, and not worth messing up the shift points (killing milage) in my opinion ! Maybe it would be !!! Has anybody tested the difference in milage between modes ???

I lost .7mpg keeping the trans in Sport full-time vs. Street. I can’t stand the Hurricane sound when lugging at low RPM. That partial throttle 1st to 2nd shift in Street/Auto drone…blah!

This is a relatively small engine in a relatively large pickup on 35s. The Hurricane is perfectly balanced & happy running 2400+ rpm all day long.

Now on long highway runs, I will manually shift into 8th gear to calm things down a bit. It does help fuel economy tremendously.

Maybe thats the problem !!! I am also a SxS'er and used to that suspension ! Not much can live up to those !!

A side by side is NOT a "go cart" and alot of them have suspension systems FAR superior to what's in this truck !! So you can't compare the two really. Also when I questioned my dealer about my suspension they told me its designed to be a "long travel suspension" so it won't be good on little bumps etc... which doesn't make any sense at all !! So good luck trying to get help from them
