Taking delivery of my RHO

I would have to research that, but they put their name on it. When I worked for Mazda we used Chase for our finance arm and called it our own. But we stood behind it. They now use Toyota financial but have not changed any duty of service to the previous contracts.

I would suspect even if Mopar Warranty contract isn't owned by Stellantis anymore, their coverage is still the same as it always was. I went with Mopar for ours and am confident in it having had it before.

That was my thinking in taking the MD warranty. Figured they'd stand behind it if I had an issue and worst case scenario I just have to ship them the truck, which is 1400 miles. Perhaps, I didn't fully think it through :ROFLMAO:. Unfortunately I won't know until after 30k/60k or whatever the factory warranty length is. If I got it wrong I'll go back in time and rough past me up for being a bone head.

lol shipping it there and back after repairs might as well just from the money for the repair

I’ve foolishly purchased 2 of these warranties in the past. One time was on a BMW M4 and they covered like half the repair, meaning $3000 still came out of my pocket. They used some technicality to get out of paying for the whole repair. Sold that car and got a refund for most of the warranty. They actually ended up sending me like $1000 more than they were supposed to haha. The second time I never ended up having to use it and just applied for a refund a few weeks ago. They do drag their feet on sending the money but haven’t had an issue getting a refund on these other than the long wait.
So which factory warranty would you recommend purchasing?

It was 7 degrees when I landed in Des Moines. Granger Motors picked me up at the airport to bring me to the dealership 30 minutes away. I had ordered exactly what I wanted last May. The long wait paid off as you can see from the sticker. Local Dodge dealers wanted full MSRP. With the Mopar extended warranty, I saved about $10k in all. Granger made everything easy and made an extra effort to get my power side steps installed before I arrived (thank you). The step is perfect and shows up on my touch screen like they were installed at the factory. They really should be a factory option. I was fortunate with good weather albeit cold on the 2 day trip back to Tampa. Roads were clean and dry. I got to explore all the features and was pleasantly surprised by the heated seats and steering wheel. The ride is great. High and firm, but not stiff. Nothing rough or truck like about it but not spongy like an old Lincoln. It is easy to drive but a substantial vehicle with ideal comfort. The self drive will take some getting used to. In the limited time I played with it, it performed well. I will learn to trust it but it will take some time for me to surrender that control. I took it easy especially for the first 500 miles staying in the slow lane. I got over 15mpg and now have 1700 miles on it. Dealership helped pair my iPhone allowing be to text, call and get directions all by voice. Other features will take time to learn as well. I want to get the most out of this truck which with be my primary daily driver for the next 10 years. We are off to a great start!
Wow! That is an excellent picture! I originally was attracted to this blue but I went with boring White again (Storm Trooper) like my 14' Sport. Great deal on yours too! I shopped mine local and within an hour and a half. Went with the best dealer about an hour away and got about $8500 off+, 1K bonus cash, 1K Ram site coupon, and 2K Ford Owner (our business work truck qualified for it :-) ) Just waiting for mine to go in production soon. They let me lock in all $4K incentives/rebates. But damn that hydro blue is sharp!

I don’t have quite enough knowledge to make any recommendations, just wanted to share my experience with the third party warranties that finance people push on you. I’ve heard that the MOPAR warranty is good though on the forums. Personally I don’t think i’ll be buying a warranty on this truck.

Just snagged a Mopar Max Care plan 7 years / 85,000 miles with a $100 deductible, all for $3,600. But here’s the kicker: the dealer threw in an extra $350 discount when I signed up for the Jeep rewards card, bringing the total down to $3,250. I'm not entirely sure if this was a great deal or not, but not having to fret about unexpected repairs for the next seven years definitely eases my mind. Planning to keep this truck for at least seven years, will also partake in some off roading activities so knowing that the suspension is also covered is worth it for me.

I've had good experiences with Mopar Vehicle Protection (now FlexCare) Maximum Care on previous vehicles. I bought the 7-year/125,000-mile/$200-deductible plan with my RHO.

Did you guys purchase the Mopar warranty with the truck through the dealer or on your own through website? Just curious if there’s any benefit going through the dealer for it, price wise.

I bought the warranty through my dealer. There's a few threads on here about discount warranty sites that you may want to scroll through to get a better idea of what's available.
