The Ram TRX unveil video had an Easter Egg. Did you catch it?

Well, something is probably getting a manual because the monitor did say
six speed February TBA. All the automatics nowadays have more gears. Remember when that was the other way around lol

I miss mine, but it would be even better if you could get it with a manual IMO. I know automatics are quite amazing now a days, but going through those gears😃
Rowing gears was the best part!

Couldn't agree more with you! Yes, I know people say the autos are faster. I don't care. There's just something about having a skill set that so few people these days have.
Personally, I think it's a decent theft deterrent also!!!

Maybe something kinda like this

Very possible…BUT, the enhanced photo capture from the event I saw had silver wheels that had an almost BBS RS vibe.

I’m not interested in a SC 5.7L Hemi. I’ve seen the results over the years when people tried power adders on that engine. It wasn’t pretty.

It’s sorta like the original 350 Chevy (1st gen). The stock short block was limited to 350HP. Yes, you could go higher, but it meant major internal changes. 5.7L Hemi is in the same boat at 400HP.

@RHOfan I agree on the SC 5.7. I do like the lowered look of the truck though. A road based hot rod truck would be cool. Kinda like our RHO but street focused rather than road. They have done it before and RAM seems to be going back to their roots.

Well, at some point they said there would be TWO hellcat-based vehicles being announced. I'm still leaning towards a single cab (or maybe quad cab) street truck with the 6.2 SRT engine.
Single cab, SRT style. Which now makes me wonder, how dead is the Viper?…🤔

Ok…I did some playing with Apple photos, so you can better see the left front wheel. It sure does have original SRT-10 wheel vibes…

200 is a good round number. If you could do 154 mph in a 2004 Ram SRT10 back then 200 should be easy now a days😛
Mine would get to about 135 no problem , but as soon as you shifted to 6th it was a struggle lol. Such a long gear. And it was so unstable at that speed, it was scary, but fun. lol.

Oh man the memories, and the street drag racing. Had a ram air kit I found for it, and a tuner. No idea what it was but I was untouchable with that. Scary fun.

A “mock up” of the new muscle truck with a few assumptions (and there is proof that muscle trucks, pleural, are on the way).

#1. The fuzzy wheels in the Easter Egg (EE) photo appear to be wheels from a certain prior year Hellcat Charger/Challenger.

#2. The cab may be an Extended Cab, not Crew Cab…again, based on the EE photo showing a possibly shorter roofline.

#3. The Muscle Truck in the EE photo does appear to be wide-body, based on the vents next to the headlight & marker light location.

youre right, there is a vent next to the light, so it will be a widebody.. interesting !

I think you’re right on all three points, but the mock up needs a more street front bumper and air dam instead of TRX bash plate. It even looks like it does in the easter egg clip.

Agreed. It doesn't look right. Lose the bash plate and add a lip. Dude truck concept front end looks better imo.

There are subtle hints of a “mustache” on the EE clip, so grille will be similar to RHO/TRX…but, I can also see hints of a front splitter. Guessing tow hooks will be gone.
