Got the Bak Revolver on. Solid piece of equipment despite me reading a few comments on the bad quality. The rubber seals on the side have also straightened up since the picture.

I was one of the first adopters of the Paragon tectonic. They made some slight changes with my feedback. While it may not be the most aesthetically pleasing cover, its practicality and capability is unmatched IMO. Not a drop of rain has ever made its way into the bed. If you need performance, THIS is the cover. Otherwise save your money and go with a simpler option.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to pull the trigger on a tonneau cover for my RHO and wanted to see what you guys are running. I’m trying to decide between a hard folder for the extra security or a retractable for the cleaner look, but I’m curious which brands you’ve found actually hold up to daily use and stay relatively weather-tight.

Right now, I’m leaning pretty heavily toward the RealTruck BAK Revolver X4s. I love the idea of a hard roll-up because it doesn't block the rear window, but those recent reports about RealTruck's quality control have me second-guessing things. It’s a bit concerning to spend that much if the fit and finish aren't what they used to be.

Has anyone installed an X4s lately? I'd love to know if you've run into any issues or if they're still the go-to for a solid setup.
Check out SyneticUSA's covers. Their auto closing (non powered) one with the t-slot rails I loved to bits on my ranger raptor that I just traded in. Ordered the same for my new rho. Can get one with a set of rails for less that you'd spend at RealTruk or Peragon. Build quality was great even if the instructions were crap.

Installed the Diamondback Switchback today. Very easy install. Took maybe 20 mins and most of that was cleaning and applying the bulkhead weatherstripping. First impression very solid cover. While a tad heavy to maneuver by yourself, it’s doable. Auto open/close function on the tailgate worked just fine without silicon spray, but after trying without I still put some on the seal just in case. Suppose to let sit for 24 hours so adhesive binds and seals set. No visible daylight around perimeter, but it’s suppose to rain tomorrow so will see how water tight it is. Biggest chance for a leak appears to be by the tailgate. As others have noted, my tailgate appears shifted about an extra 1/8” to the right, but doesn’t rub.

Excuse the dirt, car wash planned this week once rain passes.

Anyone have any experience with EGR? Looks quality. Trying to decide between manual or electric.

Gonna be going with the Lomax Pro come time.

Green Reaper….Can I get an update on water tightness of the DiamondBack??

Overall it’s been essentially water tight. Only place I have seen small dried puddles is near the tailgate seams (between the tailgate and wheel wells along the bed sides), which it tough for any cover to block completely. I’ve driven it in the rain and use the pressure washer with foam cannon and rinsing to clean the truck with the cover on. It sits outdoors at work and then under a car port at home. Haven’t been through a winter yet with it, so can’t make any feedback there. So far I’ve been happy with the cover. Very solid, I personally like the way it looks and so far no problems with the automatic tailgate closing.
