I turned that garbage off too...you're too close to the line, well no shit, this truck is 10ft wide Susan.I don't know, I have that shit turned off. I'm not that old I can't control my own truck.
I believe that for 2026 the GW comes with the Standard output. Previous years the Grand came with the HO and the base Wagoneer had the SO, but they are trying to make it more affordable so they all come with the SO now.Does the 26 GW have a HO hurricane or a SO hurricane
Available with both. Higher end trims have HO.Does the 26 GW have a HO hurricane or a SO hurricane
I have the Tungsten 1500 with the Hurricane. It is the most amazing truck I have ever owned out 2 fords and 5 rams over the years. It has the massaging seats, totally drives itself out on the open freeway. Seats are very comforatble and the sound system by Klipsch is truly impressive over the Harmon. The 360 Cam viwes dispalyed while in moton is truly a great benefit to see all the way around the vehicle. Its a year old this month with 13000 miles and still finding things it does I never knew it had.The power of the Hurricane is very stout, quiet and smooth! All who has ridden and drove the truck cannot believe its a truck with 6 clyinder power. The drive assist will take on several different modes and levels as to how you prefer the Truck to drive.I was told the the Wagoneers are the same as this truck. The difference over a Laramie to the Tungsten is unreal.... For the weekend! Just for the weekend! Sorry for the click bait, but I thought it was funny.
In all seriousness, I’m sharing this for a reason.
I recently traded vehicles with a coworker so I could take a weekend trip to Chicago. I daily-drive my RHO and genuinely love it—few issues, zero regrets, and I plan to keep it another few years or 100k miles, whichever comes first.
That said, the Grand Cherokee Summit I borrowed was fully loaded, and it opened my eyes.
The massaging seats were excellent over the 5-hour drive each way, but the real differentiators were the night vision camera and Active Drive Assist paired with adaptive cruise. Absolute game changers for long-distance driving. I arrived fresh, not fatigued, and the system performed flawlessly. Lane centering was precise, predictable, and never once made me nervous.
I know many of you already have Level 1 and are used to this, but for anyone on the fence or still ordering—think twice before joining us Level 0 peasants.
I got a great deal on my RHO, so no complaints, but spending real time with features I don’t have definitely triggered some FOMO:
- Memory seats – My coworker adjusted them and I still can’t get them back just right. Level 1 has it.
- Ventilated & massaging seats – Outstanding over 10–12 hours of driving. Level 1 has it.
- Active Drive Assist – The biggest one for me. I drive a lot, and this materially reduces fatigue. Level 1 has it available.
With hindsight, I wish I had spent the extra ~$10k upfront. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss these features until I lived with them.
My RHO is still an incredible machine, and I love driving it every day (except the color). I missed it on the trip—but it probably wouldn’t have fit in the hotel garage, and I wasn’t about to valet it all weekend.
Lesson learned: my next vehicle will have these features. No more cutting corners. Saving a few bucks can cost you long-term satisfaction.
Level 0 is still a huge bang for the buck in this segment compared to the competition.
Consider this your friendly warning. My thoughts!!! Chao!!!
True. And dollars to (Wrinkled) DonutsInteresting that everyone finds value in different features of L1. Makes it more attractive to a wider range of potential buyers on the used market, even if the $$$ isn’t even 50% returned. It’ll likely sell much faster.
Two neighbors have their houses for sale in our neighborhood. The one with lots of “extras” sold in a day. The more basic home, even though priced substantially less, has been sitting for weeks.
It’s all about satisfying those special “wants”.
Surround camera & speed sign recognition are two features I wouldn’t ever want to live without for how I’ve used my RHO.
