Transmission Issues

Has anyone been having issues with their transmission not downshifting when stopping? Mine has acted up intermittently. Today, when stopped at a stop light, it tried to start out in third gear when the light turned green. Made a ton of noise and was slow to get moving, as you would expect for a third gear start. Just curious if others have noticed anything similar?

I would have that towed on a flat bed to the dealer asap.
