The TRX is a great truck that is too f*cking expensive for the times. Yeah, it’s a good value compare to Raptor R, but Ford keeps R production limited. I’d love to trade up to a TRX but not at that price. I’m not angry, it’s just reality.

Ram needs to get their QC under control before charging that kind of premium. I’m good with a Ram at a steep discount, but that’s $50-65k over what most of us paid for a RHO… and we all know that value is going to tank in year 2.

Agreed. I wouldnt mind upgrading, but these markups are crazy. I think waiting it out and we will see them discounted as time goes on.

First one coming into local dealership on website with 5k ADM. Crazy they don't have a buyer already for the first unit. Tough economy I guess.

People pay. My brother's dealership had it listed for 25k over MSRP and lots of interested buyers. Now that trx in transit different dealerships called him and offered to buy it 30k over MSRP and in return they will trade in their trx when its built. Makes me wonder how much that dealer had a buyer for to buy trx for 30k over and then do dealer trade to give their back.

So, I’ll tell you guys this- I just bought an RHO from David Reagan at Conway CDJR in Conway, SC. They had a TRX on the lot. He told me they don’t mark anything up. He said they sold that TRX at window.

As for my RHO, they discounted it almost $6K and it rolled off the truck <12 before I made the deal.

Pretty square dealership IMO.

Some people just aren’t that bright. Imagine paying 15-30 over msrp, driving it off the lot and it being immediately worth $20k under msrp. These aren’t collectibles or very limited production vehicles. They’ll make them as long as folks are buying or laws change to prevent it.

That's retarded. I was offered one at MSRP from a dealer I know, and I declined (I like my 2022 TRX better, and have a metric f*ck-ton of mods on it). A handful of guys on the TRX forum have even gotten a few thousand below MSRP on them. Anyone paying more than MSRP is not making a smart decision. I get it, it's a cool new toy and everyone wants to be the first in their cul-de-sac to have one. But there are plenty of dealers receiving their allocations that haven't found a buyer yet, and are offering MSRP.
Plus, Ram has already built more than the 2400 than they advertised (and they haven't even started releasing the Bloodshot Night Editions yet), so I would be willing to bet that they'll keep making them into the several-thousands. Allocations will come off, and the Mark Dodges of the world will start selling at steep discounts.

No thanks! The RHO is a better truck in my opinion. The RHOs handle better, the suspension is better, and the gas consumption is better too. Not to mention, it was $58K less than your TRX, including the Level 1 package. If someone must have the additional speed/power that the TRX offers, then they can waste their additional $60K. Or, they could almost buy to RHOs for the price of one of those TRXs. RAM and RAM dealers need to cut back on their greed, as there’s nothing to justify that price for that truck.

Yeah 22 was the one. For some reason guys in russia only want 22 also. When I had my 21 and 22 used it for about a year and send it to russia and let's just say got my money back and then some. I do regret selling 22. My friend who went through 3 model year also said 22 was best year.
