Yeah, that first one just looks like a bad idea. I agree that I'd never leave my pistol in plain sight, no matter how secure the manufacture says it is.The last one I don’t see working at all for a truck.
The first 2 should work but id never trust leaving a pistol loke that open and unattended. For that, IMO, just clip or mount a kydex holster to the side pocket and use it for quick-action truck carry. But not for literally keeping it safe while you are not in the vehicle.
Definitely agree, was thinking more of the lines of temporary / short term (i.e. I'm heading into the courthouse to pay my tax bill, or walking into the school to pickup my kiddo, etc), not long term like parking in the airport, etc. After posting these, I saw these were manufactured in China...that automatically is a turnoff for me.Yeah, that first one just looks like a bad idea. @lavar00eSure, I bought this safe two years ago for my 2021 rebel , now it's in my RHO, fits both trucks perfectly:

I can’t speak for him but from my own experience being able to take my console vault out of my 2024 2500 rebel and it perfectly installing into the RHO, I’d say that if you find it fits a standard Rebel and it’s shaped to go directly under the console arm rest like the one you showed in the second link, then it will fit no problem.@lavar00e
Sorry to ask again...but please send the exact link to this one. Thanks man
1. You originally sent this link which states in the verbiage it doesn't fit the RHO/TRX.
2. But then I noticed this one...which states it is for the RHO...

Not sure which one you installed...appreciate the clarification. What I don't want to happen is to cover up the power outlet.
It sits well below that. No interference. How would it fit with the 110v outlet there in the left upper corner?
Great thx…how did you remove the file hanger tabs?@BucsFan yes, the 3.89" version fits the RHO
If anyone is curious, I purchased and installed this console vault. Fits with no issues. Remove the gray file hanger tabs first for a quick and easy install.

Just pull them out. They have tabs on each end. If you use enough pressure you can bend one side out and then the other side just backs out. I found it easiest to pull from the bottom up to get the first side out.Great thx…how did you remove the file hanger tabs?
Guys,Installed my console vault safe today. I broke one of the file folder hangars. I didn't realize there were two clips on the top and bottom of the hangar. I broke the top two as I was prying it off. I tried to find a part number to replace it. The Mopar chat guy couldn't find it either. There are some numbers on the part but none of them came up on their site. I sent Mopar an email and I will ask my dealer to see if they can help. I'm hoping it is not part of a higher assembly.
For any of you looking to install a similar item I added a picture of my broken piece so you have an idea of what it looks like. I was able to install the safe with just one of the folder holders removed. My weapon fits with room to spare.
What foam did you use? ThxJust installed a console safe from
Amazon, pretty happy with the results, cut foam to fit with double sided tape. Biometric safe w/ key if needed, and charges usb c.

I wanted to get the job done quick and not wait for gun foam to be shipped, so I just got a couple husky 24”x12” knee savers from Home Depot and used double sided tape to connect 3 layers. Take my advice and just wait for pluck foam as it was a PITA.What foam did you use? Thx
This was clutch advice, thanks! Easy enough to pull out with just your fingernails if you can just get a grip of the underside of the hanging tab and pull upwards. Not even that much pressure needed. The tabs on the top side are larger and deeper, so i can confirm that pulling from the bottom with an upwards motion is best.Just pull them out. They have tabs on each end. If you use enough pressure you can bend one side out and then the other side just backs out. I found it easiest to pull from the bottom up to get the first side out.
