Had a very ugly rock chip on the front edge of the hood. Used the Mopar touch up paint….applied multiple times letting it self level and dry each time. Finished today with wet sand and polish. Not bad……

Those look totally ineffective lmao... but they also look good. I like it.

They actually do help a bit with rocks and shit being kicked up into the body. They don't seem like they would because they're pretty small but they help

And to keep on topic....I've been sick all weekend so haven't been on but yanked off the OEM Goodyear rubbers and replaced them with a set of 5 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws. I have only driven from Discount Tire to my house which is less than 5 miles so no thoughts yet on performance. It really is kind of a shame, though, that this platform has essentially been out for 5 years now and there are only two offerings in the OEM size and speed rating. Everything else has a lower speed rating, which is pretty disappointing.

Not exactly $2800 I was looking to spend money on.....was about to bite the bullet on tower speakers for my boat....

Took the truck to Ernie’s Automotive in Jersey to get IGLA installed. Great guy, super clean and organized shop. Does all work himself and is very friendly, personable and has over 40 years in the business. Highly recommended.

Like the look of these over the Goodyears and that they carry the triple peak rating for snow. Curious to get your feedback once you’re feeling better and can get back on the road with them.

You need ratchet and I think a 13mm/ 1/2 inch socket. You’ll see the tips are a ball socket arrangement. Loosen the bolt, adjust and that’s it.

Driving home this Sunday some dirtbag flung a water bottle at the front of the truck...did not see where it came from or if it was purposeful but it scratched the front of the hood to include a small dent. I was going to get some touch up but decided to have the local collision center fix it the right way. A brand new truck deserves more than touch up paint. Cost me about 1K for someone flinging a water bottle.

Paint correction (dealer shoved it through a brush car wash and caused significant damage), XPEL PPF, ceramic coat and ceramic tint all around.

Precision Auto Styling in Alpharetta.

If you haven’t taken delivery yet make sure you inspect the plant thoroughly and ask yourself beforehand if you’re willing to walk away due to paint defects. Lots of paint issues on these trucks. Bleed through, non-uniform metallic flake (there’s a lot of flake on the black), terrible orange peel particularly on the doors, gas caps don’t match, etc.

And tell your dealer not to touch it, especially if you get black, clean it up yourself if you know how to do that properly or take it to a good local detail shop. The dealer will put swirls all over it and worse if they shove it through a brush wash.

finally finished these.. they are bit subtle than the old inserts I had but they are harder to print, mount and are less smooth
