What did you do to your RHO Today?

LOL - My truck will now be getting a Full Wrap in the spring... Definitely have some new pinstriping, but there were guys driving their TRX's and a couple Raptor R's thru the same crap. Was one of the best experiences I've ever had. To each their own though. LOL

There’s a lot more and another Chris who makes downpipes gets more air than me :)View attachment 35810View attachment 35811
Yes I know... LOL... Major Fomo over here not being able to go to Domo... They had a lap attack recently near me I was going to hit but got tied up with work. Will be going to next one. Amazing what these trucks can do... Keep sharing the action shots...

Anything else done to yours suspension wise? Im ordering some bump stops soon to take away some of the torture.

All stock. Tire pressure lowered, it lands like it’s on pillows. Looks like a harder landing than it is. :)

Chris

Is that one of them lowriderz? Is this what the kids mean when they say “making that ass bounce with the switches”?
If you have to ask ;)

Chris

Got my first oil / filter change and tire rotation @ 1000 miles. Pretty sure that it wasn't needed yet since it still had 85% of oil capacity. But my truck had 6 oil / filter changes to include the tire rotations that was included in my purchase contract from RAM. I'll start the regular schedule after this first one. Might as well use them.

Dont go by the oil life %... Change every 5k to 6k. Also change rear diff fluid sooner than 10k. My 2 cents.

speaking of that- I've been meaning to ask: to the guys who've done it, is it worth changing the oil at 1,000mi, just to clean the production shavings out of the filter, or is it usually pretty clean at 1,000 still? (I'm at 900 today) Also, what about diff oil? I know a few guys have done it very early, but I'm looking for a general consensus. ('Oooooh- glad I did that!' or 'Meh, shouldn't have done it...it was fine)

Sick!!! I wish my drive to work had random spots where I could just jump it for the pure enjoyment of it. LOL... Doing another run in Feb. We will see if I can get a little more air under it.
LOL- I used to brag about the buttery ribbons of asphalt that are most FL roads & highways, but now I wish I had at least some old, crappy railroad crossings around town!

Changed oil on mine at 1500... Why not. Couldve waited. But peace of mind. I now change every 5k.

Rear diff i changed at 5k and it was terrible and im glad I did. I changed again at 25k and it was still really good. Wont change again until I hit 45 or 50k.

Front diff I changed at 10k. Didnt need it at all. Looked new. Will not chang again til 50k.

At 32k now and Will change t-case and Trans at 40k.

I dont tow and I mainly drive highway. I do 2 or 3 offroad trips a year. For me its all about preservation.

There's additional information on the Oil Analysis thread that may be useful for you. Here's my results for the first service on my truck.

Look in the oil analysis thread. I posted mine on there. Adding it here for convenience. First oil change showed significantly higher amounts of copper and silicon and elevated Iron. I got that out of my engine at 500 miles. Later oil changes showed much lower levels. I think it’s worth the few bucks to get the wear metals out early. I keep my trucks for awhile so….
