What did you do to your RHO Today?

My voltage is between 13.1-13.7 max. On the low side for sure.

Put a sticker on it. Thanks @Nitro

Both batteries replaced under warranty, alignment(it was off!), tire rotation and second oil change(1st at 1k and 2nd at 3980)

Driving great as always...just a bit slow...until I reinstall the DS :devilish:

And once I got home I see how great their mechanics are…..missing cover for the battery, damaged my ppf and fuse box top 🤦‍♂️

😂🤣😂

I thought I beat the dreaded dead battery issue. Without any warning…dead as a doorknob. It gets driven just about every day (sometimes it’ll go two a three days) including to church yesterday.

I was excited to go run an errand and hit the button twice to start it, nothing. Weird. Hit the lock button, nothing. Opened it manually and no dome light. All I could do was laugh.

I threw it on a great trickle charger that’s brought everything back, we will see if it starts in the morning so I can bring her in.

Cheers!!

Chris
Welcome to the club. I charged mine fully 24 hours prior to disconnecting the charger (I was going to preempt this I told myself). Walked out full of piss and vinegar and wha wha wha... nothing. Dead. So, on that day, I got a new battery 😂

I have also been tracking my battery voltage. When it is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit it starts out around 14.1 volts. However, it then fluctuates when driving between 14.1 and 13.5. On a 100-degree day, it went down to 12.9, but fluctuating back up to 13.5. To my spouse it is the daily battery voltage report. ;)

I had a dealer check the system and perform a load test on the batteries, and they advised there was no issue with them. However, when I took it in, it was a cooler day. They advised if I am not getting a warning light, the batteries should be okay....

I also asked their thoughts on upgrading the battery to something non-Mopar, and they did not recommend it. They thought it could impact the electrical system, going with a battery with higher cranking amps. This did not sound right to me.

I picked this set of wheels up today for a “can’t pass that up” price. I’ve been wanting a second set of beadlocks to put 37’s on. Was told they were off a TRX, but I cant figure out what TRX had this color wheels. They seem to be a very subtle bronze color, or maybe a strange charcoal color. It’s hard to see the “tint” in the pics but it’s very noticeable in person. Anyone know what year TRX they may have come off of? I’m considering having them power coated or painted black, but may just leave them as they are.

And, for what it's worth, they're fairly rare.
There were 54,888 TRX's built.
Of those, 6,799 were 2024 models.
Of those, 4,380 were Final Editions.
Of those, 3,022 had beadlock wheels.
And not all of them were the "Final Edition" beadlocks. The build sheets didn't specify which ones had the patina beadlocks, so there's no way to know the exact number.
But it's safe to say that there were no more than 3,022 sets of these ever made. I would guess somewhere around 2,500.

What about black chrome? Maybe anodized? And have the ring done in color to add some contrast…maybe blue, green, orange, or even bronze?

I’m considering doing something like that. I have the stock RHO beadlockable wheels. I’m sure the rings are cast. Otherwise I would have them stripped and clear coated for the raw aluminum look. May have to use super chrome Powdercoat, which looks a lot like polished aluminum.
If I do that, I’ll probably take them by a machine shop first and have them drill and counter sink the other 12 beadlock bolt holes. Purely for cosmetic reasons.
