'26 RHO with 3200 miles and 2 break in oil changes done already. Had a JB4 and the AWE 0FG catback installed a few weeks ago. Everything is gravy and sounds amazing. A few days later, my undiagnosed autism hears a sound coming from the pedal area during acceleration and sometimes a harder than usual downshift. On a cold start I can hear it nearish the downpipes as well. Ever since then, it's all I hear when driving. It occurs more/heavier when in Sport mode which is the only way to drive the RHO. I thought it was the new exhaust so I had the shop tack weld everything and double check their work. Still hear the sound. Today I had the shop put the stock exhaust back on because the sound drives me bananas. Still there. I did a little more digging and came across a post here describing the rattle and a waste gate actuator with a bandaid fix of tension springs. I have already ordered the springs just in case, but is this sound I recorded consistent with the wastegate rattle? It's driving me insane.
I did my best to get different sound clips from all angles. Please please please help me. This sound would likely make me get rid of the truck and I don't want that at all.
