All tires get louder as they wear out, It's the nature of the beast. Is anyone getting a lot of road noise out of the OEM's after 20,000 miles? Love the tire, but it seems to be getting loud.
Same. Most all terrain truck/suv tires act this way. I’m about 17k miles too and they we substantially louder. Still fine though.yep mine at 17k are crazy loud now, I just assumed it's because the lower tread, never had offroad tire before
IMO the stock tires are junk. The only good thing about them I they are pretty light for their size. IMO again, the best tire I've ever ran and I go back to every time are Nitto Ridge Grapplers. For as long as trucks need tires, I will only buy Nitto's. They balance easy, they're quiet, they ride phenomenal, and they are just a good looking tread pattern. I just went to 37x13.50r18 and they ride better than stock(sure there's more sidewall), but they are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than the stock goodyears while being taller, wider, and heavier. Nitto Ridge Grapplers definitely are worth the price. Is anyone getting a lot of road noise out of the OEM's after 20,000 miles? Love the tire, but it seems to be getting loud.
My 25 RHO tires were noticably quieter than our 26. First thing I noticed when I got in our 26 was from day 1 how much louder they are. I would jump to another tire but besides loud they are light, work good off road, good in rain, snow, ice and way better than my K02s. Not a fan of durtracs. Cant figure out what would be a good replacementIs anyone getting a lot of road noise out of the OEM's after 20,000 miles? Love the tire, but it seems to be getting loud.
Good info. Did you do a lift and/or keep the stock wheels for those 37’s?IMO the stock tires are junk. The only good thing about them I they are pretty light for their size. Ridge grapplers are the worst tires on the market. Difficult to balance, rough ride and no traction.IMO the stock tires are junk. On the Toyota forums people say they’re not as good as the AT3W’s. Any experience?I loved my at4w’s. Great traction and road noise in all climates.

I should clarify specifically wet/snow performanceThat's odd. I have heard much more the opposite. People liked the at3w, but the 4's were far better. I had them on my GMC and they are very good tires and loved there.
